Received a call from this number today for the first time. Did not answer; no message left.  Incoming call log listed the number and that the call was from Texas.

This is a true robo call - using a disconnected number to run the dialer off.  The number will change, the area code will change but they run these off a database of collected phone number collected from companies that have dumped them for not being answered.

Got a call from this number, it was a gentleman claiming to be a representative of the United States Government. He said I had won 9,000$ from a survey I'd taken in December. He said as long as I promised not to use it for anything illegal he'd have it transferred into my bank account or put it on my credit card. I could also get it in cash if I gave him my social. I declined and he hung up on me. Better luck next time.

This guy said his name was Mark Phillips and he was calling from Yahoo because Yahoo is getting complaints that someone with my email name, which he provided, has been harassing people and asking for money. Of course I haven't. He said he was required to investigate. He told me that all systems in my house had been comprised and wanted me to go to my computer and sign in and he would show me the ip adresses of the scammers. But definitely not go into my email as this would tip mthem off. I said well I have my kindle right here, I'll just look myself. He was very adamant that I had to go to my computer and open  it. He then said he would get my ip address as well and then could add blocks so no one else could do it again. I'm not stupid, just wanted to see where this was headed. I'm not given someone who calls me with a foreign accent access to my computer. I told him I would call him back. When I called the number he gave, 800-935-0817, someone named Jack answered, again heavily accented. I asked the name of the company. He said they're a support company. I asked for whom and he had to put me on hold. He came back and said Microsoft. I said that's not the name I was told. He asked what was i told. I told him you should know and he hung up. Sometimes playing with scammers is fun.

Called saying master card compromise, hang up I dont have a master card, scam big time

SCAM! I answered because bad weather and family in that area. Oriental-sounding woman asked for Mr. or Mrs. Sanders. I said wrong #. She said, "I'm calling from Windows Technical Support. There's something wrong with your computer." I said, "I told you that you have the wrong number." The line went dead.

That happened to me as well. He wanted to get huffy with me but I didn't let him. I asked him how the heck he knew about my computer when it was protected like Fort Knox!  He stated I got an email as well. I said I didn't believe he would think I would fall for that. As I hung up he was yelling "What a minute! What a minute!!"

When I answered the phone I said hello 3 times before anything was said.  Sounded like they were speaking some language I couldn't understand.  Then I got a fast busy signal.  I called the number back and got a recording that the number was disconnected.

Got this call after 8 PM. I answered as the number was similar to a friend's number ( it came up as Texas on caller ID ). A male with an accent said they were calling about my computer. I very innocently told him he must have a wrong number because I don't own a computer. I lied. He hung up. Checkmate!

it just says 210-280-8488, and when we answer, no one says anything. I had seen reviews online about this being a scam, funny thing is they still call and no one says anything. it is getting to be rather annoying now and sadly there is nothing we could do. So strange eventhough there's online reports of this number as a scam, the gov't hasn't shut it down yet or searched for the person(s) responsible for this.

Called today 4 times and once I answer and there was no on on the other site. Just silent. So I just call the # and its says "you have reach the # which is no longer in service".

This number called 9 times today. I just finally answered, they said I was selected to receive $7,400 back, but they needed a debit card to send it to. I gave them a prepaid card that i don't use. They gave a confirmation number of TX23199 and an Acct Manager call back number of 210-888-8559. The number says invalid when dialed. I immediately canceled the prepaid card to avoid incurred charges, after I did a quick Google search on the number.

Very rude was not interested asked to be removed from call list. Started yelling could save me money with electric bill.  I hung up.

Called and left a 5 minute message on answering machine of animal sounds and snoring. Voice was disguised. Number was (210) 280-8488 said TEXAS on caller ID

My day off and they called early.  Didn't answer.  The message was garbled and deep.  Couldn't understand it.  I don't answer calls I don't know now.  If it's important, they'll call back.

Got a call from them today my caller I.D. came up as Texas I answered but it was quiet on the other end. I called them back but it just kept ringing.

I've received several calls from this number, however, whoever it is doesn't leave a message.

this 210-280-8488 and 87 call constantly about 20 Times per Day. On a Phone I Use for My Home Business. The People are Foreign and I Can't Understand Most of what they are saying. They Claim They want To Sell Me Diabetic Supplies. I have Asked them On every Call To Please remove me From Their Database. And The Phone Rings from The Same Number In a Few Minutes. very Nasty People Also. Sound like a Call Center In The Backround.

The phone rings; then there is silence at the other end. They must be trying to verify that our number is an actual number, so that they can place their next scammy/solicitation or otherwise unwelcome and undesired calls.

And another call to block on my Panasonic home phone.   Products of a brother sister marriage playing with the phone
