Got a call.  Answering machine on.  No message left.  Why isn't that "no-call
list working?

this number calls mr all hpurs of the day

They called me and asked if I wanted the local paper (las vegas) for 70% for 3 months.  I told them sure. Truth of the matter is that I did subscribe to the paper for a long time, but then stopped it because I wasn't reading it.  But recently had been thinking about starting it up again.   Then she had to get a supervisor on to review everything.  Then the supervisor wanted my credit or debit card.  I asked her why didn't they just bill me like they have in the past.  She then said, we can take an electronic check to lock me into this rate.  Again, I said....no then just forget it, because this is an odd phone number.  She said she would process my order and that was it.

I think they buy the information from the news paper of people who have dropped their subscriptions. They probably get a percentage of what they are able to sale.  But there was no way I was going to give out my financial information.  She knew my name and phone and address and I am not listed in the phone book.....so, It will be interesting to see if I get the paper and what the billing will be.

Caller ID says Texas number, call several times a day, and leave no message.

I get huge volumes of calls from 210-587-2213 including waking me up late at night after they are not suppose to call.  I've tried repeatedly to get Metro-News to stop calling me.  I've spoken to a supervisor 5 times, reminded them I am on the don not call regisrty, complained to every government organzation imaginable, and now I have had enough.  Below is the email addresses of the pricncipals at Metro News including their useless compliance officer Bryan.  Email them your spite and make them stop.

Received a call from this number 210-587-2213...it is ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!

On their website their 800 number is listed, 800-950-8475.  From there I dialed ext 202 for Eric Southward, VP of Marketing.  In his message introduction he gave his cell phone!!  If you are really upset, see how he feels about annoying calls that don't stop!! 214-695-8322.  Can't believe he put his cell out there!?!?

I'm so glad you reported these calls--I get several a day from this number, and I don't answer them.  I am so tired of this number appearing on my phone.  I just didn't know what to do.  I am already registered on the Do Not Call list, but apparently it doesn't work.  I have 11 numbers that call my phone randomly and I've named each number DNA (do not answer)...but they are so annoying! I  too, wll file complaints with the BBB and the State's Consumer Protection Agency.

Look up the Telephone Consumers Protection Act.  It allows you to collect damages up to $1500.00/PER violation from Telemarkters who violate the Act.  It works...I got 5000.00 in a judgement from a company in small claims court and when they did not pay, I had a collection company annoy them on the phone.  They gave up and paid.  Sue, sue, sue the jerks.

I keep getting these calls but no messages are left.  I do not answer them anymore.  Would like to eliminate this call if possible.

I just posted Eric's # on my facebook wall and asked my 400 followers to give him a random call.  I followed it up with a text and email asking him if he is ready to stop calling me.

My freinds are reporting, after an hour of non stop calling, his cell # is now giving a busy signal.

I'm in Florida and this is the first time I've received a call from this number. I am on the DNC Lists and I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize and especially not Unknown Name Calls.
I ended my subscription to the Palm Beach Post about 6 months ago - I guess they sold the info.
Companies that call us this way are very bad and should be stopped by the FTC.

They call beginning at ( am and call at lunch and dinnertimes. I don't want a paper. I registered on the DNC Lists. STOP CALLING ME!!!

I have been getting these calls daily sometimes 2 - 3 times for a year now.  I have a block on the call, but it does not stop them from calling all the time.  But in order to block you have to have a phone pkg that allows this.

this number been calling for few months, i awnser and they just hang up the phone. metro news it states when i call back, they never awnser regarding there own call back.
