hmmmm i'm more confused because ok sometimes when i call places like to a friend it says my number is 12108920019 and i'm in canada lol this is a texas number lol can someone full me in on wat this number is all about?

My boyfriend was overseas and called me.  The number came up as 210-892-0019, then I received a call at work from a client in New York and the number came up the same.  The only thing I can think of is that calls are somehow being routed through a system that causes it to show up as this number.

I DON'T KNOW THIS NUMBER AND WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING ME.

My mother received a call from this number.  He said he was calling about the problem she was having with her computer.  (The only problem she was experiencing was slow web page loading, which is hardly unusual.)  She passed the phone to me.  The man spoke with a heavy Indian accent, and said he had evidence that we had downloaded a virus, and that he would guide me through a process to clean up my computer.  Obviously, this was an identity theft scam. This is a local San Antonio number.  My speculation is that it is a number that re-routes other numbers.  West Telemarketing is a huge company that has many numbers.  It's unlikely to raise a flag by using a 210 area code.  

If you receive a call, answer it.  Ask the caller to identify himself and his company, how he received your number, and what he is specifically calling for.   Tell the person you are going to confirm his credentials before calling him back.  (If he can't give you a call-back number, you know it's not a legitimate business.)   Chances are, he'll hang up before you get through these questions.

I have received two calls a day from this number for the last 6 days.  I am on the DO NOT CALL registry, so I've decided to file a complaint everytime I receive a call from this number.

No one answers when i say hello, no one leaves a message when i let it ring, and when I try to call back, the line is always busy.

I encourage you to file a complaint on the do not call registry.  The FCC recently caught another spoofing company for robo-dialing millions of people.  So please file the complaint each time!  Thanks!

I received a call from this number as I walked in from work just minutes ago. The caller ID on my Pocket Communications phone was 210-892-0019. When I answered there was no voice - just static. This irritated me since I have been receiving alot of these calls and emails ever since I applied online for a First Premiere credit card. Immediately, I returned the call only to receive a busy signal. At about that time my phone began to vibrate signaling a voice mail. A man by the name of Robin left me a message informing me that my family may qualify for health care at $99 dollars per month since their records indicate I have no insurance. I happen to have an extremely wonderful  FREE health plan provided by the school district I teach in! Fortunately Robin left a callback number- 1-877-284-5066. After the message ended my carrier provided the number 210-892-0019 as the captured number. I called the 877 number ans as the phone was answered a man was already in conversation with a fellow employee. He finished his conversation while I waited for him to acknowledge me. He answered, "Health Care...this is," (I did not get his name because I was not really listening at that point). I informed him I had healthcare and he asked for my number to add to the do not call list. He was extremely courteous.

another of those callers who listen all the way through the answering machine message, then do not leave messages---just keep the line open long enough to make the machine show a message was left---even though there was no message.Naturally I did not return the call!!---

Spanish speaking caller. Could not understand a word she was saying. Told her, in English, to go f*** herself and stop calling me. Replied with more spanish crap, raised her voice and then I heard a click. I then had an English automated voice saying "Thank you for registering your interest in 'Spaniard Teeth Whitening Cleanser'. We will send you your first product and bill shortly'!!!!!!!!!!!! They even read my name and address out!

OUTRAGEOUS!

If this garbage arrives at my house, I sure as hell wont be paying for it and I'll send the shite back to where it came from and bill them the postage. [***]

Debt collector? We were called for houseing loans from that number...obvioussly a scam...they were based in Philadelphia.

Some one just called me at this number. do not call me again
