Heavy indian accent - kept insisting I get to my computer right away because I had serious issues with it.  Lots of viruses and spyware. He could help me fix them, he has been receiving messages for weeks about it (really, why tell me now?) Said he was with tech support.  Very pushy.  I tried to get as much info as possible from him while "my computer was booting up".  He had my full name which is troublesome - my name and number are not published.  Also, my computer is spotlessly clean.  I finally told him I knew he was a scam and he hung up.  Also, the first call said ameyo 9-2832, but he couldn't hear me so he called back.

Got a voicemail of "Hello? Hello? Hi, Hello?"
They called earlier and my male friend answered, they hung immediately upon hearing his voice.
Getting sick of all this crap, got a call a day from Utah a few month ago, wish there was something more I could do than just report the number.

I just received a call from this number--I usually don't pick up calls I don't know but this did have a NY area code.  She said she was my "Software Service Provider" and my computer was sending lot's of error messages and she wanted me to fix them.  She said press ctrl and windows key--I said No--I don't believe you and please do not call again.  Don't know what the SCAM is just want people to be aware and hope noone would actually do this.

I hung up.  Do people really buy this

well Im one of those who received this call from 212-456-7890, did a reverse phone number which lead me to Trask Industries.. long story short, it was a heavily accented caller about my infected pc..NOT. Wanted me to follow her instructions and go into my computer, I asked lots of questions, and finally asked to speak to someone who spoke English and the caller hung up on me. lol. SCAM

I get the same thing. Stupid people. Freaking annoying.

I got a call from this number, 212-456-7890 (caller id as New York), and a guy saying he was from Global PC Support claimed my computer was attacking theirs with a virus.  He had a heavy Indian accent and sounded like he was in a call center.  I asked him the name of the machine that was attacking, and he said the 'windows machine'.  If it were possible that such a thing was going on, he would know the name and ip of the computer.  (If he had the name and ip I would be nervous, how did he track it back to my phone number?) Asked him twice more for the name of the machine and got vague answers.  I told him he was full of s**t and he hung up on me.

Complete scam and a liar.

Same as the other posts.  They talked to my wife 1st time, then when I answered the said she signed us up and they needed a form of payment.  When I asked too many questions the [***] said I was wasting his time!

i got a pop-up on my computer that said my computer was at risk, i checked my computer and everything was fine. shortly after i got a phone call for the same person you all are describing (heavy indian accent) saying he was a computer tech and wanted to help me fix my computer issues, i just hung up. how is he getting peoples information? its very disturbing

Bell South has an obligation to their customers to prevent this type
of harassment. Bellsouth needs to put a stop to this type of harassment.

I received a "Garbage" call f/ this ph # ??? When I tried to call back ?? I was disconnected !

This number has called me 4 times at 6:15AM  and then again at 8AM. It is so annoyed to have the phone ringing while I am still sleep and get up to see it is the 212 456 7890 number which I never answer.  I am on the do not call list and have over 375 numbers of unwanted calls.

These calls have been reported since 2012.  How can we get them stopped and block them.

The guy "David" just called and I told him this was a scam and no way would he see my computer and to remove me from his call list. He then proceeded to call me a [***] when I asked him again to remove me from his call list.

Yes beware. I fell for this some time ago and the Indian guy got control of my computer. I realized something horrible took place and called my computer store and he said turn it off immediately and get it to him. I'd been scammed. Fortunately I had not given any money. When I refused to buy his scam then my computer started doing strange things. I felt so stupid and know better.  I had given him enough information to mess up my computer which cost me some dollars to fix. Hard lesson learned.
