Who is this? They are calling my dad at all hours and asking for me. I havent lived at home for 35 years!

Do Not Call is a joke. It simply doesn't work! I finally bought a call blocking device called Sentry 2. After receiving up to fifteen telemarketer calls a day, I was desperate. Now that I have begun to block the rats I have peace of mind once again!

Got this call approx. 3 min after another hangup from Connecticut - which had a person's name. This one just said New York. I hear now that scammers can 'spoof' phone numbers to appear on your caller ID as something that looks real and it could come from anywhere...

Called at 7am. Seriously? I have a spam blocker so it immediately hung up, but still....

I didn't answer and the number 212-662-1932 was on Caller ID.  When calling back it says number is no longer in service.

"This is Andy, your prescription discount card is ready to be mailed.  Please press 1."

This calls my house and I do not know who they are I want it to stop

If you want this bottom feeder to stop calling you, block the number. Problem solved... For this number. Unfortunately, there are thousands of other bottom feeders.

This number showed on my Comcast call list. I had picked up the landline phone and there was no sound. If I waited, I am sure a person would have popped up after a moment or two for some sort of scam..These (robocalls) are too frequent and they use a computer generated program that dials your number and does not pay attention to any "do not call list". I just block them with Comcast (via their internet site on my account, but you can call your service provider to block calls also). The price we pay for new technology.... Idiots and scammers can reach us even if we do not give out our phone numbers. BTW watch out for scam emails. I have gotten a few that were shown to be listed from some company unknown to me. I right clicked on the message sender and it showed a personal email address (supposedly a company site) and the name was a long Russian name. Delete those. Also, if you get an email telling you that you have to pick up something at Walmart or some other retail store (that you did not order )on a text or phone call or email, delete them.

Didn't answer as I've been receiving an unusual amount of spam calls lately. As I wrote this, I received a spam call from 1-609-582-4127. Also, no answer. They're out in force and I don't know why the phone companies can't block these - especially if, as people stated, you call back and the number says it's been disconnected. They can trace and block certain country code IP's. I've decided I'm not answering my phone for anyone anymore - I've had my number call me, go figure. If there's no message left, they didn't want to talk with me. This is getting so I might just use a track phone and remove all other phones. If enough people do this, and start dropping their service, the phone companies will get their act together and find a way to stop these.

I am tired of all these fake calls and at all hours.  I don't answer but I have to go to a phone to find out it is a fake.  I had one that was somehow mixed up with another call and they were yelling at me to call immediately. I don't remember the rest of the screaming as I hung up and called my friend back.  This one just now has been calling before.

Keeps calling. Doesn't matter if you answer and tell them to stop.  I have call blocking so I guess that's next resort.

That number keeps calling me. I won't pick up. They don't leave a message.

Medical alert scam gave me a rest but is back calling again.  "212-662-xxxx" "212-688-2241" "212-698-1452" hello seniors scammer, medical alert same BS. using several different phone numbers. Several complaints of pitched scams come from "212" NY area. I will report this number to FTC.
