Hi, I just received a call from the same number as you guys. He really insisted that my computer was in danger and that he was sending many error messages.

I said: Okay but my computer works perfectly, and I do not have any error messages, so how is it possible?
He kept insisting that my computer was sending him report about failure and that I needed to go to my computer ASAP.
I replied: Ok listen my computer is fine. I will hung up now, bye.

Did not received any other call since.

Because I just received a call from them, for the first time.

A person with a heavy east Indian accent claimed he was from Microsoft and tried fooling me into giving him remote control of my computer.  My son said let me talk to him and hopefully he won't call back.  He told him he already knew this scam and the man got offended that my son was judging him based on his language and that he was only trying to help and that my son was being ungrateful to him for trying to help solve a problem. He said I'm hanging up now , please don't call back.  2 minutes later "John" called back and said how dare we hang up on him. As you can guess we hung up again.

I received a call from this same number, again, and got the same thing as everyone else:  "Daniel from Microsoft Windows" telling me there was a problem with my computer.  I told him I wasn't near my computer and asked for a callback number.  He said, "Yes..." and then apparently hung up.  :-)

The caller ID showed the following:  V70300130500183

My friend in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada has just received the same call from the same number this morning.  She just hung up;

An man with strong Indian accent saying that he was a Microsoft Tech. I told him that he was calling at the house of a computer tech and that if he calls again I would file a fraud report against him. He hung up. Not the first time they call here. Last time it was a woman.

I received a call from a man with an Indian accent, I could barely understand him. he was telling me that he was with Microsoft and that I should turn on my computer because I was getting a lot of errors and that he was going to help me fix all the problems. I told to give me his bank account # and id take all his money and that that would fix all my problems. SCAM!!!!!!!!!! this is so sad that people out there are being taking by these scammers. PLEASE hang up on them and give no one your personal information. If you happen to have errors on your computer of any kind be sure that it is you that is calling for help not them calling you.
