Calls and does not answer.  Number not listed in directory.  What are they hiding.

Call and asked for the owner. I asked what is this in regards to and they said health insurance, they were supposed to be providing a quote. I told them we have someone else. Then he asked how old i was and if i had cancer or dieseases then transfered me to another person who said I was too young??? Caller ID says DEALOGIC, I googled it and its like a marketing firm or something.

Call is supposedly from a company called Prospect America" Nycz 1, New York

they caaled today a lady and hangup in my face

caller asked for the owner. I aksed if I could get some info and get a message to her and said thank and the you did not get out of the ladies mouth before I was hung up on.

Turn these guys in to the FCC. Everytime they call file a complaint. If enough people file maybe the FCC will get off their lazy behinds and do their job! I am sick of being harrasssed daily by telemarketing scum and I am fighting back!

Caller was named Cindy. Asked for owner. Said it was not a telemarketer call, but it regarded insurance. When I asked her to hold to verify with owner she hungup.

I received a call from 1-212-786-6830 about 2:30 PM on 11-30-09. When I answered, no one spoke to say who or why they were calling. I kept saying hello, but still there was silence. Finally, after about a minute the call disconnected. Was this the first time I've received such a call? Hell no! I've received dozens of them just since the first of this year! I'm fed up and mad as hell so this is why I'm taking these first steps to try and put a stop to it. - I Googled the number which led to this site which has various descriptions of calls from 1-212-786-6830. I therefore decided to call the number. A young female answered. When I asked who have I reached, she said "EKN Financial Services." I next asked where are you located?  She answered, "Long Island, N.Y." Then I asked, where exactly, and she said "Woodbury, New York." I then asked to speak to whomever is in charge and she connected me to another person. He identified himself as "Pat Ruotolo." In response to further questioning, he said he is the "Operations Manager." I explained what happened when someone called me from his company number. He admitted they have people calling for "cold leads," but added that he can not understand why someone would call and not say anything. I suggested that he look into the matter and also Google his number to check out this site and others like it to see the evidence of all the complaints about his people calling and not saying anything. He said he would look into it. For all intent and purposes, this company has now been put on notice and any one receiving calls from this date forward, need only contact the New York authorities (city, county state) and make a formal complaint. May I also suggest you contact your state and federal lawmakers to politely suggest they get off their a**es and write some enforceable laws against uninvited telephonic intrusion (trespassing)into private domains whether they be residential or business. Law makers ought to also go after the directory publishing division of AT&T. Why should anyone have to pay AT&T an added fee to keep from having their number listed in the phone directory? Instead of helping to control telemarketing plague, AT&T is aiding and abetting in its continued proliferation! AT&T gives new meaning to the terms "Protection Racket" and "Greedy [***]." ABW

Answered phone! woman ask me what I was wearing I told her nothing she hung up How rude

Picked up the phone and here's how it went:
Dealogic:  "Is the owner in?"
Me:  "This is a business line"
Dealogic:  "This is a business line too, WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM WITH THAT"..said angrily
Me:  "What can I help you with?"
Dealogic:  "YOU CAN'T HELP ME WITH ANYTHING"...said angrily
Dealogic:  giggle, giggle, giggle and then hung up.

I continue to get calls from this number with rude background noises. I heard a female say. '[***]" and then she hung up. I answered the call once on March 1, 2010, but there is only silence.

212-786-6830 calls twice a week, then hangs up when I answer. How do we report this?

got a call today a long message saying very important cal and we will tell you all about it.
sound lake a collection co. what I do not get if it is so important why do they leave a recorded message  to call them  back. If it is so important whey isn" t there a human on the phone. They are all crooks.

Getting phone calls and rude messages from this company recently. Looking forward to them calling back during business hours, gonna see if I can break my record with how long I can keep putting them on hold and see if they'll wait. Current record is at over 9 minutes. Should be fun.

Got a call from this number this morning and each time I said hello, he would just laugh, so I put him on hold.

Same as others, keep calling w no message. I don't answer long distance or unknown calls anymore.

I just got a call from this number 212-786-6830 and they said they were American Republic Insurance and were trying to set an appointment time to come sell me insurance.

How about buying a air horn like the ones people have at sporting events. When you see Dealogic or any other weasal calling, then pick up the phone, blast the horn in the phone for a couple of seconds then hang up! Eventually you will actually have a person on the other end, you get to blast their ear out!
