Today I received a call fron Alex Watson. He said he was an attorney and that I owed him money. He knew the last four digits of my social and that really freaked me out. He stated that I would be arrested If I didnt pay them money right away. I then called him back and he cursed me out and used alot of unprofessional language. I was afraid so I googled the number which is 213 261 5790 and I found all these responses and I feel a little relieved. I hope the punk doesnt call me again.

Same calls I called the  attorny general in my home state they are hackers who prowl the web to get the info then they try to scare you by doing this calling my phone carrier also as I have two voice mails where they treaten me. Hope they read these posts.

I had the same call but could not understand his name becuase of the heavy Indian Accent. These people called before and I called the local police and they said the same a scam.  He said that "I  wish you good luck as this situation developes.  I still have the case number from the officer that listened to all ten voice mails I saved. He just shook his head and laughed and stated it is a scam.

I to have also recieved a phone call fom a man with very poor english. He states on my husbands phone that we need to call him back as this situation is going to unfold badly for us and he needs to speek with our attorney or us immediately. He states that his name is mark wilson and to call him back at 213-261-5790. However when i call that number it is a voicmail belonging to alex watson it is full and you can not leave a message. I just want to let the people out there who are not familiar with the extent that a bill collector is allowed to do in order to recieve money, first of all there will never be a law suit against you that you wil only hear of over the phone, alway know that you would recieve letters or court documents before they start the calling and harassing. Then next thing to be aware of is they are not going to call and tell you that you neec to have your attorney contact them they would send that in the mail. It is very clear to me that this guy is a scam artist and thinks he is going to get money out of people please beware. DO NOT LET ANYTHING THIS GUY SAYS GET TO YOU. He is fake and only wants your money....good reason to move to america so you can scam hard working people out of what rightfully belongs to them....

Got a call from this number and said they were a law firm and tried to confirm my social security number asked what firm and refused to give me the name of the law firm and i did not confirm the last 4 of my social and hung up on them.  the call came into me at my place of employment

I got the same type of call at my work-my secty gave me the message, so I called back very politely and asked them not to call at work and the guystarted cussing at me...I was in shock and hung up--he then called back and asked to speak w/my supervisor.. Luckily the secty recognized the voice and just hung-up - but it is awful.  
And also people, it they are calling you it means they have gotten some information somewhere.  I recently did some transactions on line, and it fell into wrong hands and my debit card was compromised and my bank acct was cleaned out through the routing numbers.
So I would advise all just to be on safe side to notify your bank, even close and re-open account so that nothing will happen.

I had the exact same call--However he knew my SS# and my place of employment and address. He also knew where I bank at.  He did also contact my work and I spoke to him and took the message. How can these people live with themselves....

I received a call from this # also.  I called back and he told me.  "An arrest warrant had been issued for me and that if I didn't pay $850 dollars right now, theFBI would be coming to arrest me and I would be doing five years in federal prison.  "  I hung up and called the FBI. and reported them.

My husband recieved a call also about this "Loan Service". He said his name was David Miller with a thick indian accent.

This person has called me as well.  Stating there is a lawsuit against me and my social security number.  The number and name they give for me to call has a full mailbox.  This is another lowlife scam.  I filed a police report, I hope they stop these crooks soon!

I have been bothered by this guy for going on 3 yrs now.  He has called my old employer and now calling my new one.  I have blocked his number several times.  Hung up on him I do not know how many times.  I have asked him to send me the paper work I was supposed to have signed for this loan he claims I took out .  The answer was that I had signed it when I took the loan out many years ago.  I filed bankruptcy and if that were the case it was on the bankruptcy and he could do nothing about it.  He called today both at home and at work .  When he called at my home I said to him  that this has been going on for 3 yrs now and that he needs to stop  and hung up the phone.
Also needs tostop calling me at work that is harassment!

2132615790. This is a scam ! DO NOT give them any of your information! They are very unprofessional which raised my suspensions immediately. Then told my husband they had an arrest warrant out for him and was going to arrest him at work and get him fired... When asked for name they used Michael Carter and Alex Smith. Looked up area code found it to be CA. Then looked up lawyers in CA. The phone numbers did not match!..

EVERYONE needs to report this too....

They had to get all of our information from somewhere and I am scared what they will do with it.. Someone has already used my ss# to claim taxes this year 2012 so now I have to mail mine in Irs will do an investigation and once they conclude that I am who I say I am then I will get my refund.  Wondering now if these people are the ones who used it????!!!! They should be easy for authorities to catch. They have a landline phone that has to go to an address and name....

Yesterday i recived a call from 2132615790 and Asked me to pay 390$ or we will sent a police to arrest  and u have to served for 6months and will send you back to ur country .the guy was very rude with poor english and he used his name as alex wetson ,hollis jackson  and michael carter.....

Wednesday, March 7, 2011 at 8:19 AM MST, I received a threatening phone call from "Attorney Alex Watson" saying I took out a payday loan and the funds were deposited into my bank account and I did not pay back the loan.  I told him I never received funds in the checking account from a payday loan.  He yelled at me and told me the police were going to come out to my employment on Thursday to arrest me and put me in jail and he was going to call my employer to have me fired.

I went through this for several days while at work - I reported them to the states attorneys office, etc.

Finally, every time they called, I would insist that they needed to acknowledge that they understood that I was recording the call (and would keep repeating this) and would ask them to verify their identity and the entity of who was holding my "arrest warrant" or what county they were suing me in. Once they thought they were being recorded, they didn't have a lot to say and the calls stopped.

Good luck everyone! This scam is relentless.

Have received two phone calls from this number. The same woman both times, has left a message. The same message to be exact. She is clearly reading a script. What is really funny is the first call was at 8:30 on Sat morning EST, so that means this person calling from California was up at 5:30 AM on a sat trying to convince me that her call was important. Frankly I don't think these folks have a lot of sense. Hope they get busted real quick.
