Got a acall from 213-363-5124 said it was about lowering my interest rate because the president asked them to. When I asked the name of the company he refused and wanted to know why I wanted to know. I told him he had invaded my home with his phone call and he told me if he had invaded my home i would be bound and gagged by now.

got a call from 2133635124 trying to sell me funeral expense insurance. Very annoying especially when one's supposedly on a no-call list.

Same here - Got a call from Mik Co (213-363-5124).  A pre-recorded message invoked the President's name and the new credit card law to falsely claim that they would lower my interest rate and wanted me to press 1.  I did and a guy came on and said "Did you press 1 to lower your interest rate?".  I said, (trying to sound stupid) that I pressed 1 because someone said I should press 1.  I think he smelled blood because he launched for the kill - telling me he could lower my interest rate.  Now it was my turn to go for the kill and here is my exact question: "Do you have authorization from any of the banks that underwrites my credit cards to lower my interest rate?"  His response, "Well you are asking if I have a right to call you, sure."  I chimed in "No, that wasn't my question.  My specific question was "Do you have authorization from any of the banks that underwrites my credit cards to lower my interest rate?""  THEN THERE WAS A LONG PAUSE ............ and beep beep beep beep.

MIK CO should go find a REAL JOB and meet some real people.

Just received a call a few minutes ago at about 9:25 am. automated message saying Obama is having credit card companies lower their interest rates. I was told to press 1 but hung up instead.

It's a call center from numerous locations....Slackers, I'm hearing everything from mortgage companies to late payments to religious....PAY YOUR BILLS!  Get off the internet and get a job!

Answer phone and no one there--this needs to stop.
There should be and probably is a law to stop this.

Refinance credit card robo call.  Option 1 gets a person who won't take you off their call list, or abide by the federal one.  If you were to give them credit card info, then what?  Why are these people still in "business?"  What is wrong with federal, state, and local authorities and the 'phone company?

Love caller ID.  in front of the number it said SPAM.  Couldn't be more obvious.

213-363-5124 called me 6/1/10, 1:08P, silence and hangup, obviously a robot gang dialer with a live "fish"
that picked up before I did, I still got charged for the call.

The is my business cell I am on the national do not call list who's list I maintain yearly.
With all of the concern for distracted drivers why are we allowing these b@#&%*%# access to cell phones, which were supposedly protected from these b*%$ wipes. Rather than complaining here it's time to put a serious effort on capitol hill and legislate some canine incisors into it with stiff fines, and compensation for line charges.

This nonsense is a safety hazard, waste of time, resources, which we all obviously need to address.

I got a call from 213-363-5124, the caller ID says TFZ LLC, It was a recorded message at first, saying something like "press 1 to lower your mortgage payments", I pressed 1 just to get to a live person and I told them I am on the national "do not call list" which doesnt seem to stop these annoying pests from calling.  By the previous posts you can tell this is some type of telemarketing call center that sells everything from credit card payment reduction, to mortgage help, to get rich quick schemes. If you try to call the number back you do get a recording saying "press 1 to be placed on our do not call list" so I tried that too.
