I got the same call today from "0000' left on my ID caller and the funny speaking man said his name is Mark Murphy....call the number their was no answer.....so I went own my computer and put in the number 213-815-1950 their i found all of you saying the same thing about this caller mark murphy...this got me so upset.....I'am in pain every day....this message cause me to hurt more because, you don't no what this is about....Thank you for your comments.....still having pain but i will try to sleep tonight. and will call the FTC's number 1-877-382-4357   thank you!

I reported them to the FTC. They told me not to answer when they call. They are scam artists, and are trying to get people to pay for a debt they don't really owe.  EVERYONE that is getting calls from these people call the FTC, and REPORT THEM!! The FTC lady I spoke with was extremely nice, and helpful! Everyone do this! I feel so much better!

I got a call from these people "0000" saying I that a previous co-worker of mine had debt problems and if I couldn't locate him it was going to come back to me.  I called them back saying I haven't talked to the guy in 4 years and have no idea where he is.  The dude said OK and hung up.  The VERY next day I get a call from the same person with the same message.  I called him back again after reading this thread and after asking a series of set questions he hung up on me.  I called him back immediately cussed him out.  Then I received a blank text message from "Anonymous" (this could be a phone virus so be careful).

Anyway I've called the FTC as you all have stated above and filed a complaint about these people.

So I just starting getting these calls today, and I have no intention of calling back after reading these messages... what are they thinking.  I do have a couple of loans, however I am current in both of them and there is not a legal suit against me at all... his name as of today by the was is Brad Johnson, still threatening legal issues... mentioned if I or my retained attorney did not call them back.

I got a phone call from these guys today on my cell phone .... Mark Murphy. VERY Strong accent. He left me a voicemail saying To Call Him Back!!, And God Bless Me if I dont! I was like.... There is NO Way I will have some message on my voicemail from some random guy telling me that. Soooo I call him back and as i'm talking to him i'm googling this phone number! So i play along ... Then he tells me that I have a Legal Law Suit and i was like WHAT! He said ma'am you have not been informed? I was like uhm no! First of all I have never taken a loan from fast cash... let alone any other loan company! Hes like well i can Prove it! I said Okay well so can i [***] I HAVE MY BANK STATEMENTS. At that point I was just furious and I called him every name in the book then he said Ma'am this is a recorded phone call. I said "I DO NOT CARE IF IM BEING RECORDED OR VIDEO TAPED OR STARED AT I AM FURIOUS THAT U THINK U CAN GET ME TO FALL INTO SOME [***] SCAM AND YOU THINK IM THAT DUMB!!!!!" He then tells me I dont care if u fall for this or not i am going to forward you to my supervisor please hold. Sooo this god awful music is playing then i speak with Ryan McCarty. He tells me the same run around stuff that Mark Murphy had told me. So I was dropping f bombs and i said YOU Freaking people think that the American People are ALL [***], I said I just want you to know Im recording this call to idiot! AND I Took all your information down and Now I am calling the FBI and FTC On Your Dumbasses! and He hung up on me.... So i called back and asked for Pyan McCarty. And I said Why Hello U Just hung up on me Let me tell u what You are an Awesome business man! Then i got off the phone reported these [***] to the ftc and fbi because he told me he had my social security number and my Bank Account Information but he did know my Address which kinda freaked me out! Anyway DO NOT RETURN THE CALLS AUTOMATICALLY SUBMIT A COMPLAINT!

Good morning just got to work and had a voice mail message for a former employee who use to have this office the call came from a "213-816-2982". The message left from a man by the name of Adam. He didn't ever bother making up a last name to go with his made up american first name. He sounded like he was of Arabic or some Middle Eastern country. He said the ex-employees full name, first and last and then word for word... "my name is Adam and my number is 213-816-2982, I repeat 213-816-2982 . Please call me back as soon as possile I want to speak with you about the legal case that is filed against under your name and your social security number, and if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then unfortunately you will face legal consequences so it's better for you to call me back right now. Goodbye, take care, and God Bless you." After hearing this I immediately called him back only to have male (who sounded just like the voice in the message) answer the phone "Hello?" (not very professional for a "legal office" if you ask me) and when I asked to speak with Adam he said that he said hold on and gave the phone to a women. I think thats odd considering the VM said to call right back. I attempted to tell her that someone left a message for a former employee . She said "no, I didn't call you."  I told her "no you didn't but the man who passed you the phone did.  He had the same exact voice the man had on the voicemail and we are a Federal Government Agency we can track all the calls that come in and out of these lines."  She got really nervous and said "oh you calling from America, my husband called a lot of business for work purposes!" I said "yeah he just called a government agency for a debit collection on a former employee!" She didn't know what to say b-cuz they had just been caught! She just said it was a mistake sorry! This is a total scam people DO NOT PAY!

I plan on contacting the BBB as soon as I post this message.
