Received incoming call while working on a project, switched lines to pick up, caller hung up.

Missed call, no message left.

All pressing 9 does is let the caller know you're a valid number and your number then gets sold to hundreds of other robocallers.

Missed call, no voice-mail, I am not attempting to call back.

Their is a national do not call registry for you cell and for land lands...  All you have to do is register you phone # and name, then when theses people w ho you do not do business with or cells calls you can complain...  

I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry but still get various unsolicited calls in any given day.  I very rarely answer calls if they don't come from known individuals.  Last evening's call was from Florida; I have no family nor close friends in that state, so I ignored it.  In this case, the phone identified the caller as being in Texas, where I do have relatives... Of course the first thought was that someone might be in the hospital or worse, but I resisted the urge to pick up and looked up the number on here for reassurance.  It's good that we have WhoCallsMe to weed out the scammers and pitch men from the "real people."

Got a call from this number today and they do not leave a message. I am on the National Do Not Call list and from what I have been told these what I am assuming to  be telemarketers have this NDNCL.  I am guessing that is why there is no caller name on caller ID and why if you try to call them back it says the number has been disconnected.  If my memory serves me right I did in fact talk to someone from this number a few weeks back and they were collecting for a charity.

Oh, and I am on the no -call list.  I never received calls on this cell phone until I registered it on the no-call list.  Bad mistake.

They just called. I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.

Thank goodness for caller ID and answering machines.   ID just showed the number and Texas.   I let machine pick up and as soon as they heard message start, they hung up.    Why so many calls when I have my land line AND cell phone numbers on the DNC list???
