I  keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone.  I pressed #1 to speak to a live person and when I asked that my number be removed she hung up.  This has happened several times. How can I get this stopped?

Received a callfrom this number just now, but there was not response and they immediately hung up when I answered it

I do not answer long distance telephone calls unless the caller leaves a message.  If a message is left, and is important, I will return the call.

Just rec'd a call from this number while at work and they left no message.

I hope this person likes text messages. Because they just got signed up for a WHOLE lot.

So many have the misconception that being on the No Call list will stop all calls. It does not work that way. It only enables the possibility of prosecution if those on the lists file complaints after receiving calls.

Nice move, but you are also committing a crime by using their number in that manner.

If you are on the No Call list for both the National and your state, you need to file complaints online. If you are not registered, you should do so immediately and begin filing complaints each time you get these calls. If you don't, you really are going to have a hard time stopping them. Trust me, the No Call system works. My state has fined two separate companies over $74,000.00 because of ongoing calls they made to my number and I had reported each one. I received a letter from my state which documented their fines and actions against the companies.

I got a called from this # regarding lowing credit cards interest rate and female voice asking for me to verify at least one of my credit card # in order to confirm.  Out of the blue I forgot to think that this is too good to be true.  I gave her my card # info for one of my credit card. I have to call my credit card holder to cancel my current card.  I did try calling back too and I was ask to enter 1 for a chance to win 50k.

The phone companies dont care !  They make money off these calls.
I know one sure fire way to make the phone companies to do something about these calls.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT , against the telephone companies.

Any other company that sells a product or service that is defective people always file class action lawsuits.
I'm here to tell you and anyone else reading this. The telephone companies that are selling you / charging you for a service that is defective. The caller i.d. does not work properly and these companies are spoofing their phone number to trick you into answering the call. From my understanding, the phone companies can stop these calls, stop the number spoofing but they don't. They make money and it will cost money for the equipment , money they will not spend. but they dont mind charging you for caller i.d. service.

Everyone needs to start a Class Action Lawsuit against the phone companies for selling defective caller i.d.

More of the Rachel calls, just a different name now. I spoke a guy and ask they remove me from the call list, he was abusive and said they don't have to but might!

I received a call... Card Member services. Same message different phone number. I have spoken to these people and when I say don't call again or I don't have a credit card they hang up.

Got a call from 214-504-1687... Did not answer and did not leave a voice mail.... What I really like to do these A**holes is  I call them back,  and if they answer,  I give them a BIG BLAST OF MY AIR HORN!  They never call back... You can also use a nice BIG WHISTLE also works good,  blow out their freaking EAR DRUM.... They won't be able to hear right out of that ear for a week!

Yep, I use a police whistle.  It does not stop them, but I get some satisfaction since they called me and I am all the Do Not Call lists!

I received a call from this number (which I did not recognize), but the caller left no voice message.  My suspicion was that it was spam, and this website seems to confirm that fact.

Calling for cc rate reduction, when you ask them to identify themselves they hang up.
