- BlakeA person from this number called and asked for my father's social security number...WTF? I don't think they are debt collectors, I think that they want to buy your car loan to re-finance. Either way they are persistent.
- maxdbThis is from Drive Time but they have yet to hire anyone who can speak decent English. They keep calling for someone I do not know. I asked to speak to someone who can talk decent English and they kept insisting I was the person they were looking for. I have since blocked them from my phone.
- Caller: Drive Financial
- Call type: Debt collector
- GordoSantander is their name and pissing folks off is their game! I bought a new Chevy in '08 and the original lender was HSBC Finance. About 5 months ago HSBC sold all their car loans to the morons at Santander. Because of their BS user brutal web site and the staff's inability to speak the English language in a fluant fashion, I was late with a payment for the first time since I financed the car back in '08. If you are one of the unfortunate ones who was sold out to these rat b******s refinance as soon as you can.
- chicagomsThis company calls my number at least once or twice a week...asking for a Santander.C6E7
- nancyreceived a call on Sunday, just got a new cell phone and number on Friday. This call cannot be for me. I registered my new number with the do not call registry on Sunday evening, hopefully this will stop the incoming calls.

- GAgirlSantander, I am 5 days past due, I though you have a 10 day grace. I had my loan with HSBC never had any problem until my loan was sold. I also pay, I have to wait on my pay check. HSBC did not forward my info to them so they want me to update giving my job #, references and insurance info. Hell to the no. If they are harrassing now and based the other comments they are not getting my info. I cant wait. I have a $5500 balance left on loan.

- Alliance Group Technologies CompanyThis company has called 4 days in a row to this office asking for Kevin. They have been told repeatedly there is no one nor has there ever been anyone by this name that works here. Today's call (2/16/11 @ 1:31PM) was no different and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the lady got very rude and told me no supervisor would take my call and hung up on me.
- Caller: Drive Financial
- Give me a break! These people call at least every morning and every night. I read these posts and realize I don't have any car loans, neither do any of my friends. I called them and everything was in Spanish. What the ****? I am on the do not call registry and have reported them! I suggest everyone does or get a boat horn for Santanders' listening pleasure.
- Caller: Santander
- 2145402035Yes, they keep calling me at my work and home number. I never answer either. I also rejected them on my cell phone. So they can have at it. I am the only one that answers my office number so I just don't answer strange numbers.

- KatyRec'd call from 214-540-2035, supposedly from Toledo, OH, asking me to call back at 1-888-222-4227 which I would assume was Toledo, but 214 call came from Dallas, Texas. I suspect the 1-888- call also is in Dallas, not Toledo. How they got my tel. no. is way beyond me! They were looking to verify a name I didn't know who was applying for credit with them. HA! Believe it or not! I Don't! JUST ANOHER SCAM!!!

- Mr.BThese relentless idiots have called me repeatedly for over 6 months now wasting hours of their time and mine since this is the wrong number. I do not know the people they are looking for. They'll never collect their money at this rate!! And now I hope they never, ever do! There must be a special place in h*ll for people like this who harass others to no end....

- Mr.B replies to Relieved in Fort WorthGood luck, Relieved.... did it work? I have spoken with them many times over the course of many, many months, telling them that they have the wrong number. They promise to remove my number, but...... the calls keep rolling in!!
- FranI don't drive why am I getting calls from you.
- Fighting BackHey everyone, I found a solution to dealing with all the harassing calls. It is simple and effective. It will do the trick every time. When you get a call, do not hang up or do not just ignore the call. Here is the trick and it annoys them, trust me. If you have a land line phone, just pick up the phone receiver an lay it down. Do not say anything. If you have your TV or radio on, place the receiver near the TV and radio. If you want to annoy them even more, turn up your TV or the radio very loud. And if you are away from the TV or radio just lay the phone receiver down, without saying anything. If you have a cell phone, just hit your answer button and lay the phone down. A friend also tells me, he hit his answer button on his cell phone but just pretends like he has a cold and cough in the phone or he goes in the bathroom and flushes the toilet while holding the phone close to the toilet so the person hears the toilet as it flushes. I have tried these things and it appears that the calls have gone down.
- Stephanie H.I have never in my life been associated with these people. They dont even speak when I have picked up! They are starting to really piss me off.
Every number everyone has listed here is now on my block list for my cell phone. There was a new one today 888-781-6964. The NINTH!!! number. There has to be some law against this.- Caller: They wont answer
- LisaHere's the answer to all our prayers. I found this on a site I posted a telemarketer's number at. I tried it and it WORKS! I put the tones at the beginning of my phone greeting about three months ago and in the last three weeks have had "ZERO" calls. Whover posted that "THANK YOU, THANKI YOU". Here's what I found:
Telemarketers almost exclusively use autodialers to make their calls. One out of a thousand will have live reps doing the dialing. When these dialers connect (you answer the phone) they first listen for any tones generated. If no tones are detected they then transfer the call to one of the reps in a call center. If the autodialer hears the 3 beeps from dialing a "DISCONNECTED" number, the number that was just dialed is automatically "REMOVED" from their list. Below is a link that has this tone plus the verbal message. You DO NOT need the verbal message. Download or copy the "DISCONNECTED" MP3 or WAV file to your desktop. Create or change the greeting you have when someone calls you and you're not available. At the VERY BEGINNING of your message place the 3 tones (NOT THE VOICE MESSAGE) then continue with your usual or normal greeting. The autodialer will hear the tones and BINGO, your number will be removed since they think it's a disconnected number. DONE. In a few weeks you will be removed from all or most of the lists. Of course you may have to explain the tones to the callers you DO want to speak to but that's a small tradeoff. Pass this info on to anyone you know that gets junk calls or even help post this on these websites. If you continue getting calls after reading this, it's your "OWN" fault! END JUNK CALLS.
