My number is on the do not call list but I received a telemarketing call this evening from a woman with a foreign accent advertising a home makeover from Direct Buy in celebration of their "grand opening". I repeatedly insisted that she remove my number from their call list and she would not take no for an answer.

I was expecting a call from a tech support center so I answered this unknown caller. All I got was a recorded message that said "Goodbye" and they hung up.

So this lady was asking for my mother, and my mother wasn't at home at the time and I simply told her that she was busy, but I have no idea who this lady was but apparently she knew my mothers name. She had a foreign accent (don't know which one but I knew she couldn't speak English that well) and she spoke very fast like she was trying to get a deal. This lady kept on and on telling me how my mom would loose her number and how we would win $25,000 and something else that I did not catch. I simply asked the lady "Mam, may I ask a question?" and of course she said yes, and I asked her "Mam, is this scam?" the lady said 'no' about five times in one sentence which was annoying if you ask me. Haha! I asked her another question about my moms number and how it would be "erased" and she was like "I can't hear. What are you saying!" *rude voice* and she did that more then three times. I simply told her in the nicest way as possible that I would get my mom to call her back later but at the time being she needed to stop.
I would like to know who this and get her number block. It's extremely getting annoying calls from people who do this.

It just rang my phone about 5pm, 12-5-2013. i didnt answer, but if they call back, after reading all the stuff ive seen i plan to mess with them a little bit. Perhaps ill try to sell them something instead!

Look up Digitphone on the web and buy one for the home. Free app for cell phones Mr Number.  If you have these two you can block all of these low life scum bags. If enough people do this instead of complaining, then these bottom feeders would not have the funds to operate. The ball is now in your court.

Number keeps calling and hanging up when I answer....

Rec'd a call today.  The lady had an accent.  Told me I was on the finalist list for a $25,000 home make over.  I listened for about a minute & then hung up.  I blocked the number.

Nearly the same thing happened to me. Direct Buy blah blah blah -`pauses between words. Go to this location. After that I hung up on her. At first I felt bad but google got rid of that feeling. I don't have the time to report these people, only hope that they'll stop.

Called my cell phone and a man with incredibly broken and heavily accented English broke in and asked me, I think, how I was doing.  I responded, "A hell of a lot better than you are" and hung-up.

Hi I posted earlier about.my initial experience.....just.checking back in to report she or anyone else from.the boston number has not tried to contact me again. As I said in earlier post, I told.her I was a cop and was tracing her location ...haven't had a problem since ..good luck all

Same here, Indian accent asked for June, I said wrong number, and he said hold on as I was hanging up on him!

These morons don't want to talk to you. They want you to answer so they can have your phone number to sell to others. If you answer, they put you on their list. These are the lowest scum of the earth.

You actually think that you are leaving a message for these people? You can't tell by the name of this site (who calls me) that it's a complaint site to report which numbers are calling? ROFLMAO (And, like you, I'm imagining that you are receiving this directly because everything we post here automatically goes right to the person we're talking to.) RME

As for the true purpose of this site, I have also received numerous calls from this number. I answered it once and had someone with a very heavy Asian accent talking to me about my prescriptions. I was actually trying hard to understand what she was talking abut so that I could clearly tell them they had no right to call a "do not call" listed number, but she ended up giving up on getting me to understand what she was saying and hanging up. Works for me, but they continue to call. Still, they are trying to sound like they have personal knowledge of your actual prescriptions and called me by name.

Called cell first time said I won 100 gift card from walmart called again said I won 25,000 home makeover then gave address and time to be at direct buy. Then asked about my income when asked the reason she hung up rude and full of it

My husband and I each got a call on our individual cell numbers within hours of each other. Indian woman claiming we had won a $25000 home makeover. We are Verizon customers and wonder if our numbers were sold by Verizon or stolen from Verizon as it is such a coincidence that the calls were received so close together. This website has complaints dated from October, I wonder how long before someone can take legal action?

Called my cell, I didn't answer.  Caller did not leave a message. 2nd time this month

I just got one too i never answer if i dont know the nummber or if it block ..only answer in they r in my contacts screw the rest

Have had several calls from this number.  You can block it and they call as soon as it is unblocked.  Some type of scam.
