Got a call from this number and tried to return the call, but got an "all circuits are now busy"

Called my number  only asked my name by compter opertated program

Caller calling for a family member.  I gave the caller the cell phone number to leave a message.  Caller asked if I was the wife.  I told her no, I was the mother.  She knew my name.  I asked how she had my name.  She said on some documents.  I said who are you.  Answer:  ACS.  I asked what is ACS.  Answer:  A company.  She also knew birth year.  I told her three or four times to call cell and leave number.  She said she had and asked another time or two to give the person a message.  After telling her a number of times to call the cell phone I said I would give the message.  I was then told by the caller:  There is no need for you to be rude.  Strange:  She asked if I was the wife (did she not know my son is not married; yet, she knew my name as his mother).  At that point, I hung up on the person.  I just won't answer their calls anymore.

2 days 2 calls from these people. Using various names.. mine and another guys.

I have 77 messages on my answering machine from debt collectors and I am debt free.

I am using comcast to block any and all numbers that call me about this. What happens usually is they start using unlisted numbers when I do this. If this continues I will change numbers, and if it continues then.. I will contact a lawyer. This is harassment and I'm sick of it every day up to 5-7 times a day..

Speaking from experience, I conclude that the only language those Academy scumbags understand is a lawsuit.

I received a call from ACS 215-320-0424 and spoke with a man who said he was looking for my son-in-law.  I told him he did not live here, in fact, he lives 1,800 miles away.  He told me that he had no way of nothing that he needed to speak with him.  All this man had to do is look up our area code...doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.  Again, I told him he did not live here.  He said he listed my husband as a reference on an application last Friday.  As I was in the legal field myself, I knew something sounded fishy.  If he was wanting to get a reference, then why was he so determined to get him on the phone.  He said that he would give a bad reference from us, then had the nerve to ask me for my name.  I replied, "absolutely not."  He hung up on me.  Do they actually think people are that naive?

I called the washington state attorney general's office and there's not much they can do. they said usually it's an offshore skip tracer/debt collector that just dials a bunch of numbers and first one of us that answers is the one who gets the person on the other end of the line that we can swear at. The rest of us get dead air. I can't change my phone number so i'm trying really hard not to answer (just to make the phone stop ringing). I just hope eventually they'll realize no one is answering and take my number off their list.

We received a voice mail for a "Eric Telez" from a "Julie Diaz" at this number.  Her message was to call 18002200605 ex 2566.  There's no one by this name and we seem to have received calls from this company before looking for someone else.  I wonder what criminal/fraud angle they're going for?

This is getting worse...I am tired of these calls...I don't owe anybody anything...all my debts are paid off.  Beware of this number...it is a scam! Wouldn't tell my friend who answered the call who they were so I don't know...tried to call back and got no answer.  I believe they are panning  themselves off as debt collectors...pretty fishy to me.
