Got call from John Wright 215-809-1477 about 3 criminal charges against me and when i called back with caution as i could find from the message that someone was faking the voice... it wasn't natural, he was trying to keep the tone.
So when i called
1. First call said "Mailbox is full" - I was sure now its fraud
2. I called again in few minutes and person named Max picked up. He said they are State Investigation Department and based in Philadelphia, PA. I was transferred to office John Wright, who left me a message. John  transferred me to Chief Investigation Office named Max Wilson. When i asked Max about his details of where is he calling from and why the charges are sent to them instead of me, he got upset and hung up. He did mentioned that he works for a law firm in Philadelphia. I don't want to put the law firm name here but when i called the law firm after Max hung up, they said they don't call anyone and i should report to FCC, Police etc
3. Just to make sure how much info these guys have.. i called again.. same person picked up but give me his name Jason Smith and he has my address and phone number etc.

Funny about this is that, Jason asked me what happened when i was talking to his Chief Officer. When i said he disconnected so he said, what did you talk to him? He is a big officer and is very short tempered. I should be careful blah blah blah...

Don't get trapped.
Now, I'm waiting for a call from my local police department.

We received this this call - we were away and they left us a message.  We tried to call this peron "Joan Wright" back but it gives a busy tone.  Reading all your folks email, I conclude this is a hoax and will not call them again.

I also receive similar type of call on black friday from person name Allen Cruz  ( he refuse to spell his last name) from national investigation beuro ( Ph # 215-809-1477). I was told that there are 3 criminal charges against me regarding state tax from 2nd quater of 2011. I own 475.22 dollars: I also asked them to provide me documentation, then they talk about my collage year and office and home address try to explain that this is reale deal. However when I ask how should, check gone be on state name, then his response was he will let me know how do pay to get read of charges out of court. Did not specifiy how much time I have to investigate this. During my talk on phone I search this number and noted that they have called so many people and try to get money from them same way, so I told him on phone that this one is not look real to me, look like scam, he start laughing and then he hung up phone. I was told if do not act it will be in my record as criminal charges. I am really upset and I like to find this people and complain about them to legal authority but do not know how to do.

They left a message on voice mail at our healthcare facility, that Officer "John Wright" from the State Crime Investigation Unit had 3 criminal reports on one of the doctors to please call as soon as possible.  It was a warbled message hard to understand heavy Hindu accent.
I did Google look up with the phone number and found all these comments about fraud.

These people called my job to harass me for money right on the spot. He says i have a warrant out for my arrestif I don't pay him the money right away.

I'm calling my local police dept. To investigate the matter do they can leave me alone.

i got a call from this number (2158091477) they are trying to trap But don't try to trap like a stupid,Now i'm trying to investigate.

I have received  harassing phone calls from this number, he said his name was Officer Ron Davis and that i had 3 federal charges against me for some kind of loan in the amount of $28,000 for mortgages, car loans and medical bills...he told me that he was going to notify my employer and I would be fired today and also that I would be arrested today...they have all my personal information and said i must pay or i would be arrested....they were very hard to understand, spoke very fast with an accent I believe to be from India...My story is just about the same as the others...I dont know what company name they work under because they speak so fast....they just keep saying- I will be arrested and loose my job

I got a several calls left on the main voice mail at my home phone number. It was from Ron Davis stating he was chief investigation officier and he got a 3 federal charges claim on my social security number.He called two times and left voicemail and left the number 215-809-1477 WITH "STARNET" displayet in caller id as a caller. to call him back.I googled this number and find all this helpfull posting from other peoples,so i am going to ignored the call if he calls back. I am also going to put this number in call block list.

I have also recieved similar call from number today and stating that they have 3 federal charges claim against my ssn and that they are going to arrest me they woke me up out of my sleep with this bull  so once he transferred me to "officer John" who threaten to arrest me some more and told me not to interrupt him and the call was being recorded and do not lie to him about any of my info he was verifing  i went on and interupted him anyway and started questioning him asking him when did they deposit this money into my account couldn't give me an exact date just said in november and i owe them $300.00 i told him i have all my transactions and no one deposit any money into my account he got mad and started yelling that im going to get arrested i said ok and hung up i found it quiet funny once i woke back up and thought about it later they have to be the stupidest people and they have there inian accents as soon as i answered the phone and heard they voice i know it was a scam

i also got call saying that my mom would be arrested for not paying tax. i have his voice mail on my phone.. he threatened me to call police.

i thought he has a indian accent too.

Got a message on our answering machine from Jason Smith, Crime Investigation Department stating there are 3 legal cases against my wife.  The call back number is 215.809.1477.  This is the second message they have left on our answering machine.  Can't the phone company do something about this harassment or potential fraud?

I am keep getting calls from this number 215-809-1477 and saying I have 3 case from State against me and they wanting me to settle out of court and send them money. They need to be investigated.

Some one name John Wright called from 215-809-1477 asking family member to call back within 3 hours or I will  get arrested. The guy was rude and loud. I checked online and saw this name and same phone # being used to call and threaten people.

We received the same call. My mother panicked since I wasn't home and gave them my father's number, they started harassing him at work, and I checked this site and found out it was a scam. I called my father back and told him to say "I will sue for harassment if you don't stop calling me on bogus charges."
Just be very strong and firmly say that you know they are the frauds and if they keep calling, we will track their number and sue them.

Got the same call, very threatening man, i got angry and yelled across the phone and he slammed the phone shut.

Some joker called me too . There should be something that can be done about such numb-skulls who actually leave their phone number in the answering machine . Can local police be a good starting point ?

I got  a call from these people John Cruz and I told him I will call  the Feds and he hung up, They are a scam please do not give them any information.
