This number has been on my wireless phone for a couple of days. I decided to call the number back and it said that the number was not in service. About 10 minutes ago,it pops back up on my phone.This time, I blocked it so now when it calls  my phone, the person who calls it will hear one ring and then hear some one pick it up but then it hangs right back up

Received two calls from this number in two days.  Truncated recorded message in Spanish.

I just got a call from here 5 minutes ago.  It was in Spanish and was something about receiving 1000 dollars and then it hung up.  why do people waste there time with making stupid recordings and calling people?

Received a call and when I tried calling back it said it had been disconnected!

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEN WHEN I TRYED TO CALL IT BACK THERE WAS THIS RECORDING SAYSING THAT THE CALL WAS NOT A WORKING NUMBER THEN HOW ON GOD GREEN EARTH DO THEY MAKE THE CALLS

Is a company saying that you won a prize and to press some number on you key pad to claim your prize. Probably someone trying to get access to you phone account or something.

Got a call too on my AT&T business cell. called back and got a busy signal then tried again and then a recording stating the # is not a working #. Do not call the number becuse if it really was a non-working # it would not be busy. I think I screwed up and gave them my working # on their caller ID.

Got a call from this number, let it go to voicemail and no message i called back and it was a disconnected or busy tone. T-mobile customer.

Got a call from an automated voice system, its in spanish, ill translate...
"Hello, you are the winner number X(can be any number from 1-10). To collect your prize, press 1"

Heres what happens after pressing 1...

A person answers speaking Brazilian saying "From what number are you calling, sir?"(in brazilian).
I hang up.

Im on Virgin Mobile.
I looked into my account and no charge was made and the phone call was not registered.

Just got a call from this number and it was exactly like the other comments stated, FROM 2 YEARS AGO! This is ridiculous. They obviously haven't even updated their wacked out system if its still the same static nonsense.

Received two phone calls today back to back, called back three times line was busy each time????

Received a phone call from 215-944-8989 on my t-mobile cellphone at 9:00pm (YES nine at night!) eastern time. Didnt recognize the call so ignored and let it go to voicemail. No message was left.

call. Prob is telling the friendly from
the unfriendly number when the
legit entity has outsourced the call
to an unknown #.

Damn telemarketers somehow got my super secret on the down low personal cell phone number. I only give it out to close friends so I'm not sure how those [***] got the number. I've had to change my personal cell phone number before because of this and I hope that I don't have to do it again. Even if I answer and tell them to stop calling they call anyways.

Just got a call from this number not too long ago. I didn't know who it was so I didn't even bother to pick it up.  Glad I didn't after reading these messages.  And no voice mail or anything was left behind.  Too bad there wasn't a BLOCK option for these stupid numbers.

Verizon customer - rcvd a call from this number: 215-944-8989 did not answer, no voicemail message left.  Called this number back from my work phone and there was a recording that this "the number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording" repeats twice and hangs up.
