My brother got this call a few days ago. Same thing Spanish recording.... My bro says "I think maybe Walgreen's thinks I speak Spanish and my prescription is ready ?!?!?!". Then today I get the call and don't answer it. The funny thing is my bro's number and mine are only 2 digits off from each other, so they must be trying random numbers in a sequence. Sounds like a SCAM, not SPAM. They are most likely trying to get unsuspecting Spanish speakers to give them info and then exploit them. We live in New Mexico U.S.A. and there are many Spanish speaking people here.... Hmmm. Cell service on Verizon.

I just got a call from this number. Same story as everyone else. It came to my cell phone and I am a Metro PCS customer.

sounds like a scam!

I live in  Balkans - Kos, but I use Magic Jack, yesterday I saw that it was a missed call from this number 2159448989 and then I called back late at night, but it says this number is not in service.

I just received a call from this number today 6:03 PST.  [***] ATT!

Just got a call from this number. Tried to call it back. Busy both times. From the looks of these posts, It was probably no one important/real. I don't know anyone in Pennsylvania.

I just found out I missed this call around 5pm mt time. I called it back and all I got was a busy sound.  My phone carrier is T-Mobile

Voicemail in spanish. They called google voice number, which I haven't yet given to anyone. Clearly they are trying phone numbers in sequence to see who picks up and takes the bait. Its a tape recording "press 5", etc, which has been played on loop for so long it has deteriorated and can hardly be understood it is so warbly.

Google shows this number is in Newtown, PA.

Got the same call. I called back and the machine said that the number was out of service. I wanted to know who it was so i typed the number in google. turns out a lot of people received the same call. So I really don't care now.

I recieved a call from 215-944-8989 at 7:20 pm California time on 8/20/2010. I did not answer, and let it go through to voice mail. They left no message. I tried to call the number back with in 5 miniutes and got a recording saying the number is diconnected.  Thats all I know right now.

I just got the same phone call, i pressed 1 to tell them to take me off the do not call list, then it hung up on me. Also in Spanish. I'm in Palo Alto, CA.

Got a call from 2159448989. This is the second call. It is very irritating. Is there a way to stop it? Does the president receive such calls?

Got the call aug 20th 11:52am PST. Picked up to the static Spanish recording. Hung up. AT&T customer. On do no call list.

Got called from this number but I didn't answer bc I didn't know who it was. Who is it and how did they get my number?
