215-944-8989 called sprint phone at 11:28am, message was something taco, something  burrito, dunno, I speak English so if you want to talk to me you need to speak it too! So, taco burrito to you too, click!

Same crap.......Spanish.....Called back to not in service number....

All I know it was in spanish. This is a work phone.  So annoying.

This number called my AT&T cell phone did not get the whole message but did not even understand what they were saying.

Just recieved this call on my cell. Onlt the number shows on id and didnot answer it. No message was left and not happy about this enex[lained call.

the same number called me and all i heard was load noise and some spanish that i dont even understand.

Bet if you checked Spanish language results it's a phishing call of some sort, with a spoofed number it's a scam of some sort.

Received a call from this number 214 944 8989 as a misssed call. When attempting to call it back..message advised the number I was trying to call was not in service.

Called at 11:07 today, and not the 1st time. Irritating

this number just called me. i didnt recognize it so i didnt pick up.

No idea who this is, I live in the SE and this is a Pennsylvania area code
Didn't answer, it went to voicemail with about 2 seconds of silence then disconnected.

Crazy Spanish on the line - soi weird, I have never been prank called by automated spanish speaking (perhaps drug cartel) person in PA.

I received a call from this number in spanish, lucky for me I know spanih and it saids that you win 1000 dolars press 1 to get your money.

just ten minutes ago (its now 1:57 PM Central) i recieved a call from this number ( 215- 944- 8989)... i didnt answer because i never answer unknown numbers, allowing them to leave voice mails if essential or emergency.... however when i called back less then thirty seconds after the initial end of the call ( and lack of voicemail) i recieved a recording explaining the number is not in service... when i tried AGAIN, i got a series of beeps similar to a busy signal.... on the THIRD attempt i was again told the number was not in service... i guess im at a loss to understand how a phone number that CALLS ME isnt in service.... is this the icy hand of fate trying to warn me about something (and OF COURSE i dont answer), or is it some sort of scam perpetrated by third world con men?.....after finding this site, it seems this has happened to others as well..... so has anyone discovered what the heck is going on?

8/23/10   11:32 a.m. Recieved same reported call and no message.Same call-back with "number not in service" message. Web reserch indicates this has been happening since 2008 ; continuously? But it MUST stop. Agreed?
