I'm getting about one call a day on my cell phone from this number

I get these imbeciles on my cell all the time. They keep changing numbers so your talking to them is futile. I have them blocked on my house phone and every month I clear the blocks and start over. I also have a "SPAM" contact in my cell phone that has a silent ringtone. whenever I get an unknown call with no message I look it up on the internet and put it in the spam contact. That way it rings about ten times before they get my answering machine to take up as much time as possible before they go on to the next number. If everyone did this their day would be a lot less productive! The telephone companies could put a stop to this but they just don't give a [***]!

Repeat hang up calls...

I thought this "cardholder services" recording got shut down. Apparently not as it came back this time.

Just hung up on it as I prefer not to feed the trolls.

My phone rings. The number ID shows 216-574-6354.
I answer, but nothing from them. No message. Nothing. Just a disconnect.
When I auto-dial them back, I get this message:
"The number you have reached has been disconnected or is no longer in service."

They just called again.

Received call from this number on my cell phone today. My cell number is on the "do not call" list. I didn't answer and I don't answer calls from any number which I do not recognize. The lack of government and/or justice departments to regulate and enforce operations like this have effectively rendered the caller-id program/system worthless.

I keep getting calls from this number, as well as several others across the United States. The message is always the same - "we'd like to place a sign in your yard for our security system." Even if I selected the "add me to your do not call list" they still call - several times a day from different numbers.

Tried today to press 1 to speak to someone. Waited over 5 minutes but the message kept saying I was next in the queue. Finally had to hang up to move on with my life. Got a call about 10 minutes later from yet another number with a live person! She was returning my call. Sounded like a Northeastern US accent. Explained what was happening. She apologized and said she would be sure my number was removed. We'll see. . .

 I frequently receive calls from these "ghost" scammers. It is inconvenient, costly and a source of irritation.  Callbacks yield only "number is disconnected", etc. Once I reached a live "operator" and when I began to make inquiries I was told to go F*** my Mother.
I am on the "Do Not Call' list which is like straining water to size molecules. Our government was "For the People, By the People."} Now shifted to "For the Scumbags, by the Scumbags." Laws mean little to them and are not enforced by the authorities who are supposed to serve and protect us.    -Rachael

Lyle, this is Gary. Is it a creepy child's voice that answers? I can understand what this male child is trying to say but for 2 days at exactly 10:30pm. 1st night no answer...just could hear a child contested breathing...then I hung up.
Next night, male child try to speak after I yelled and asked " Who is this". Then I think it sounded like a woman pretending she was a child trying to say
something. I yelled again, "I can't understand you!! Don't CALL HERE AGAIN YOU ARE NOW BLOCKED.

Never have had this problem again but I was curious as I was scrolling through my blocked list and remembered. I thought I would try to see if I could find who or what company this was.

Gary, this is Lyle. Caller identified himself as 'Chucky' and told me that I was "Child's Play" to him.

He went on to say "don't f**k with the Chuck because the Chuck don't f**k" before wheezing and hissing. I think in all probability this call came from the local daycare.

I have blocked him too.
