I got a call from this number and when I called it back I got a recording that the number had been changed or disconnected. Obviously this is some kind of scam

I did as well got a call at 9:30 am tried to return and got message it was disconnected.

I answered the call--it disconnected immediately.  I also tried to return and got the message that it was disconnected.

Call multiple times.  No one on other end. When I call back, the number is disconnected.

Just received a call from this number and have blocked it!  Imagine calling on Easter Sunday, these scammers have no class!

Just got a call from this number on my land line - on Easter Sunday, no less.  Came here to read the posts.  I get the same result when calling this number back - that I've reached Verizon Wireless and that the number has been changed, disconnected, etc.  Anyone receiving multiple calls from this number or any other that appears to be a Verizon number may want to go to http://www.verizon.com/support/residential/ph ... neral/95622.htm.  They can't do anything about "unsolicited calls" (i.e., just one call), but if you get multiples, they might be able to do something.

Just got a call this morning from this number and the recording said that the number had been disconnected. Isn't 216 from Cleveland?  My girl also saw a white van parked outside my house around this time...

Just got a call, I answered but no one was there. I called it back and stated it was disconnected.

Call from this number came in.  I did not answer.  No message left.  I do not answer calls from numbers I don't know.  If they leave a valid message, fine.  Otherwise, I move on with my day.

I just got a call from this number as well; I missed it and when I called back, just as everyone else here, it came back as disconnected.  It could be some sort of "error" number, or has anyone managed to talk to the person as they were calling?  I'm on Verizon and live in Columbus: I feel like this could be localized to Ohio because, as someone else mentioned, it is a Cleveland, Ohio (confirmed in source) area code.

from 216-630-5554 have received the "congratulations you have won trip to Bahamas", debt consolidation or medical supply scammer. Only 11:00 AM and this is second scam call of the day. Will again report to FTC

got call on 4/8. called back and like other comments no longer working number.  i put them on my reject list in case they call again.

Just got a call from this number (216-630-5554) like 5 minutes ago. Didn't answer as I seldom answer unknown calls. No voice mail left.
