Got a call last night at 9 pm. I go to bed around 7 as i have to get up around 230.

I received a call from this number at 6:10 P.M. I worked all night at the YellowAirplane Website and got to bed after noon.  I was still sleeping and they woke me up. Very rude.  The man asked me for my exact birthday.  Why did he want that.  This is exactly how people steal your identity.  When I said that I was 45 - 50 he just hung up.  He didn't say anything and didn't want to talk.  These people have no right to call any private residence and they don't have the right to ask any personal questions.  If they just asked a range of ages or general questions with no specifics, then they are doing legitimate research.  If they want specific questions, they want more than what they are telling you that they are asking for.  If the C CF Research company was truly wanting to do research, the man would not have been rude and just hang up.  Never give anything specific, and, really, don't do any phone research ever, no matter who they say they are representing or what kind of research that they are giving.

Please paste this info to every telemarketer-scum warning board!!!!!

They called several times, I don't answer it

Calls have been coming in a number of times in recent months from this number.  I don't answer them and they don't leave messages in my voicemail.  My number is on the Do Not Call list but they call anyway just like a bunch of other telemarketing and phone surveying scumbags.  The laws just mean anything to them or they look for some loophole to use.  They don't care if they disturb and pi$$ off a few hundred people before they find someone willing to buy what they're peddling, donate to their "cause" or take their survey.  Very underhanded, scumbag industry!

Just got this call after 8pm.  I do not answer my phone after 8pm unless I know who it is.  It really ticks me off that they won't leave a message.  I am no longer with state farm (switched insurance company due to state farm ripping me off $$$).  This is annoying! I know they will call back and I will answer and they better then leave me the hell alone!  Wow, I thank all of you who communicated your experiences with this number.

Called at 4pm today, 8/3/10, and left no message.

Just received a call from this number and all he said was "conducting a survey" and never said where they were from. We dont have and have never had state farm so dont understand this! Plus its an unlisted home number at that. Maybe I'll pay them a visit in Champlain, IL if they call back again.

Over the past week we've received at least 9 calls, usually in the late evening.  We've had State Farm insurance for years, so I don't know why this is starting now.

Do Not Call doesn't work if you've opted in to receiving calls -- which we all probably did in the fine print of our insurance policies.  


I've found that despite the annoyance, with telemarketers if you simply never ever answer, after about 3 weeks they stop calling.

Just like many others listed here, I have had several calls from this number.  I never answer, and no one ever leaves a message.  I like the idea of making a midnight phone call to  ART as some have suggested.

Some foreign woman called me at 9:20 pm, I told her do you know what time it is, never call me again.

Called yesterday evening and again this evening.  We didn't answer and the answering machine picked up after the 4th ring.  The caller hangs up the minute the answering machine picks up.  Thank goodness for caller ID.

been getting calls from this number ever since I canceled  my state farm ins.  went with geico and saved over 50%.  
thanks to the new cordless phones I bought from panasonic I can call block up to 30 #s from the phone its self.  you can also block unknown #s also.  heres the model # KX-TG7432  they have a large display which is great and easy to see.  cost about 75.00  well worth it.   got mine at buy.com

Called at 7:58pm. Didn't answer, didn't know the rea code.

The SOB's called me tonight at 8:54 pm and it was the first time. Just said unavailable. I don't answer these unknown callers. I looked the number up and landed on this site saying it was from an offbeat part of State Farm. I am filing a complaint if it happens again and also will contact the local State farm Agent about my private number being given out.

Called today and when the answering machine picked up, they hung up!  I do not answer called marked "out of area" or "unavailable" unless I know the number or they start talking.  Guess they'll never get to talk to me!!

Received msg today, caller identified themself as being associated with State Farm Insurance. Started to ask questions and told them I was not interested and then hung up.

One needs to notify FTC.gov and file a complaint.
