217-834-9977

This company is ridiculous.  They have called me from different numbers (every time), multiple times per day for WEEKS.  The VM says to call 217-834-xxxx with some urgency.  After 2 weeks of this harassment. I called them and demanded my number be removed from their call list.  Man kept trying to tell me all about some crap and I kept insisting I was not interested, have been on the DO NOT CALL registry for over 20 years, and demanded he remove my number. A$$hole hung up on me.  The calls continue. No REPUTABLE company would use these tactics.  Each call had bee reported to FTC/DoNotCall website.  Caller NEVER leaves their name or the company’s name. BEWARE!

Posts on another site indicate that this is likely one of those "pre-approved loan scams."  These are SCAMMERS so they don't give a hoot about the DNC list.  Report the number and any other number they told you to call to your carrier as SPAM or SCAM likely depending on what your carrier allows.  That should at least keep it from ringing through.  Do this for any number they call from and block all those numbers.  Here's information about this type of scam:

They call and leave a voicemail never identify who they are: a woman states that she's "wanting me to call back before she sends the documents over" The call is from an 833 number it's always the same message about wanting to feel comfortable before sending over documents. I have no idea who she is nor do I have any idea as to what "documents" she is referring to. Clearly this is a scam, also whenever one enters sweepstakes like HGTV the phone calls start. Usually calls show up as "spam" but this just rings through without any warning. Like I say it's from an 833 number but always different like today it's 833-541-5669 but always gives 217-834-9977. Definitely up to no good. They call all hours: morning, afternoon, and at night. It's getting ridiculous indeed.
