Is there anything that can be done about this BS?

Now claiming some account got closed and you need to verify something. I hung up as soon as I realized it was a scam to get my CC or other info.

Scam saying they are associated with VISA and that your debit card has been temp locked.  I assume it's a no-brainer, but DO NOT enter your card number!

Called me at 3:30AM trying to gain access to my banking accounts.

Got a call from this number & missed it. Waited to see if they'd leave a message nothing.
Googled the number & now I'm glad I missed the call.

But why are you calling the business line for a mini storage in Arkansas?

... Annoying.

I received call saying my visa card was temporily locked and to select 1 to continue and 2 to exit(I disconnected call).
Called number back and message from Artist in the Sky indicated someone is using their mnumber for illegitimate purposes.  This definately is a new scam I have never seen before...don't know how they got my number and I hope they catch the [***]

I checked my voicemail after I got off work and I had one message. First, I tried to listen to it with the windows down, but I couldn't hear it at all. I listened to it a second time, with the windows up, and all I heard was a female voice. I couldn't understand it at all, so I put it on speakerphone. Again, I couldn't understand it, but now it sounded super, super creepy and it was definitely still a woman. The message played in a jumbled, almost rhythmic tone. Like one big word. I played it to a co-worker and he said it sounded like, "When you hear this, give me a call."

I called voicemail again, a few minutes later, but this time I was determined to make sense of the message. The first listen, still nothing. Too fast, and too jumbled. I pressed four (for repeat message). This time the message sounded a little slower. I thought maybe it was because I was hearing it more clearly the second time. But still nothing. I pressed four again. This time I heard it more clearly than either of the first two listens, and it sounded way slower than the first - suspiciously slower. It sounded like, "foranyinconveniencethismaycause."

After about fifteen minutes or so of recalling voicemail and listening to the message over and over again, I was sure it got progressively slower. I recorded it on GarageBand and the eerie results are in the picture attached. The message clearly played progressively slower with each play and replay.

Now I had decided to call the number back. It went straight to voicemail, and this is the message that followed...

"Hello this is Artist In The Sky aerial photography. We recorded this temporary message on Tuesday, July 29th. It appears than some 'entity' is using our caller ID to call people with a message that has no connection to our aerial photography service. We apologize for this, and we have alerted the appropriate authorities..."

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Called my cell today and it did not ring long enough for me to answer.  No message.  Report, again, to the Do Not Call violation list.

Business photography service for mail outs or show physical location from air, etc.  Also uses phone number 877-650-5508. No company/personal info. I Blocked number.

A$$hole telemarketer calling in violation of the Federal Do Not call law.

This number kept calling but only allowed the number to ring where you can see the phone number then hung up.  Finally the number called back and I answered.  it was an automated message from Gary.  I hit the usual *8 that will usually end an unwanted call but it didn't happen.  So I transferred the number to our fax line.

Didn't answer as why would artist in another state be calling me at work? Now that i look at all of these complaints, glad i didnt pick up the phone

I say we call this guy and start spamming him. I hid my phone number (*67) when I called and said nothing and I hung up. I've done this 3 times and will continue. I think if we start to fight back like this, they may start to get the message. Of course if he continues to call, we can sue since we know who it is. We should ALL also call the phone companies and continue to complain. Yes, they have the ability to stop these kind of calls yet they won't. Getting tired of them.
