I got 4 calls on my cell phone one after another and the [***] hangup, the phone number has an extra digit 223-697-61962, I contacted my wireless carrier and was told they would report it to the FCC and try to block this number but I doubt it will work being it has the extra digit, lets see what happens.

This box contains your Name And Home Address which means they are yours. If you don't send the money before 24hours you will be arrested in Japan. You cannot use me for Money Loundry or Drug Trafficking and yet abandon me here and refuse to answer my calls. You will jailed in 24 hours said by the FBI if I dont get the US$500 within 24 hours. The FBI has already contacted the Japan Police Investigation Team. You have only 24 hours to send the money or you will end up in jail. Firstly thank you for the forum to post the ANNOY of the situation caused by the 223 dialers. They have been calling the home of my 90 year old mom (dying from cancer!) and the phone rings, she cannot hear who is on the phone, I heard her asking who it was, then hello, hello and then becoming upset that it might have been one of her friends needing help and they could not talk. I think whoever this is should have something MORE annoying done to them,. This world is becoming more and more filled with scammers, scumbags and a form of CREATURE habits that are disgusting, At least this site gives one the opportunity to VENT and perhaps someone can find a way to BLOCK ALL INCOMING CALLS that are from that area code, We have VIPER antivirus that warns us of trojans and malware and removes the virus...TOO BAD WE COULD NOT GET RID OF THESE GERMS OF SOCIETY and have it all stop, My Mom does not need this ^%&^*()_(*!

a lady called me from area code 223 number 300 2233 and pretended like you work at Microsoft and wanted to fix my computer

Have received two called from this 223 area code in the last 1/2 hour.  One from 223-475-1747 and one from 223-475-1765.  No message left.  Annoying.  After reading the other posts I'm tempted to answer the next call with an air horn.

I had a call from the 223-475-2949 and a man kept saying that he was watching me, then he hung up.  Like everyone says it would no go through when I tried to call back... Creepy

Yes I received the same. Also from the same area code stating it was from microsoft office, showing that my computer was infected with a virus....... I asked for a returned number and the location to where the office was.  I was told there is not time to spare!  Click.....that was the end of that!!!!

Phone calls from223-475-3505 they hang up as soon as they hear you say hello.

I got a missed call from unknown caller  with # +223778010140. When I check what country using that code its Mali and in Africa where scammers and fraud are rampant. I ignore it.

I have been called 4 times today by that +223 number and asked to be removed from the call list every time and I got the wonderful FU from him. Great customer service skills.

& these are the barbaric animals being allowed in to our country save an American burn a kuran!

Received this number saying that this was my grandson. He was in an accident in FL. jailed for DWI and needed $2000.00 in bail money. The person talked funny not my grandson voice. He stated he has a broken nose and teeth so that he couldn't talk very well. Stating that I had no money to send him he hung up real fast. Grandson called today never was in FL. How they got this family information scares me.

I got a call with Mali area code as well but the call lasted for just a second.
Though I'm in Nigeria, I have no friend or contact in Mali
