THIS IS A SCAM!!!  DO NOT GIVE THEM *ANY* OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!  I called them back, spoke to someone named "Cory" who said he is with "Chase Bank" and needed a social security number and a credit card number!!!  If this were a legit company that I had done business with, they would already have my information!!!  I'm reporting these scumbags to the state's Attorney General's office and also to the Federal Trade Commission...and if these scumbags call you, REPORT THEM!!!

I received 2 calls back to back - however - lol - left my cell in the car.  I looked on here saw it was chase and went to my account.  Evidently they refused my WaMu Payments, charged me a late payment and wanted an immediate payment today.  I paid however I smell a bunch of crap.  This WaMu transition was done dirty and in a back alley.  They never told me about not accepting payments and I how have a late payment.  Anyone else?  I am sure they are freaking out about this transition and anyone who "had" a WaMu card so that when there is a class action lawsuit they look like their hands are clean.  I will be writing a letter to them to seek resolution.

I find it very hard to believe tat this number is is really chase, they re obviously a scam. I called Chase directly and spoke to people, dealt with my payments and paid my minimums, from online bil pay on my bank. they still call "woundering when I will pay them," but they always disconnect when I am talking to them, and always ask for my info, which I do not give, and no one knows anything there. I cannot stress this enough, do not pay them directly, as they ask, and do not give them any info. I have called them out on this and told them that they are a scam. No other bank would call on weekends to your cell phone. This group apparently knows what, when and how much you owe, and expect niave people to pay them directly.

Yes they are if you gave them your work number.  You should call them and change your profile information so they do not know who your employer is.

I've been getting calls from 224-222-8005.  No idea what it is for?

I receive calls from this number.  No one leaves messages.  They call at all hours of the day and night even on sunday, a day of rest for those who follow their religion.

I've got a call from 3 # from Chase.  An 866 #, 847#, and 224#.  I swear to god I think it's every hour on the hour.

This is a disputed amount from a merchant that I cancelled and they never provided servive from them.

Tell them that they are calling you at work and you do not want that to happen again. They are put on notice and are supposed to stop calling at your place of employment

These people never let up!  I get about 20 calls a day from several different numbers and have called each one back and it's Chase.  My payments are made on time each month and they claim that I am past due.  One call that I did answer I asked the woman on the other end for a fax number so I can fax over a bank statement from my last payment and she started to argue with me that I did not pay my bill last month, I then asked for a manager and she told me that there isn't one near her at the moment and I said that it's ok I'll wait on the line and she hung up on me. Another call I asked for a fax number again and the man on the other end asked why and I said so i can fax over my bank statement to show proof of my last payment and he hung up on me. Another time I answered the woman had a massive attitude and when I gave it right back she became irate so I cussed her out and she told me that I am being recorded and could get in trouble and I told her so could you guys when I take this to the better business bureau, she then hung up.  Chase does this to me every June or July like clockwork, they are too big for their britches trying to scam people into thinking they're past due. I'm going to start harassing them!

These harassing calls have to stop!  I got so fed up I went to www.StopHarassing.me and got a different phone number that answers my creditors.   I gave the number to my creditors but they still called...then I threatened them with a FDCPA lawsuit and they stopped calling me....now they call my Stop Harassing Me number...and they hear the same message over and over again :)

I got a call from this number but I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. No voicemail. Another site said it is a fraudulent call. A reverse look-up said it was Chase Bank. My credit cards aren't even due until the middle of the month and today is July 4th. It's an effin holiday and I got called. They called my wife and all they asked for was bank account info and when she refused they hung up and now they are calling me. Guess its time to cuss someone out. Another thing, when I have gotten calls from my bank it shows up as JP Morgan Chase on the Caller ID. So they are most likely trying to rip people off.
