Call the number 847-394-6588 for National Advertisers. Spoke with Rosa said she was just the receptionist but one of 3 secretaries. Said I want my number taken off the list. She transferred me to Tony Rizland - the biggest [***] I've ever spoken with. I'm asking questions like what do you do there? He said I need to clean up my attitude. I'm like WTF? if you are a big professional business as you say, then you can tell me what you do. So he says oh we sell ad's and do collections. He says they can't take my number off the list. The company name he said my number is listed under is a company that is not even me. I said well now we know that it is not me, so remove my number. He said we can't and if you got an issue with it you can call the police. What a dick, I called back and got rosa again. Said let me talk to the collections department. She tried tranferring me and the number that she transferred me to was out of order. I could hear that Tony guy in the background complaining about me calling him.

This guy called asking to speak to the owner, calling him by his first name. When I said he wasn't here, he asked for his cell. i figured it was a telemarketer so I asked if I could help him with something because I was the one taking care of the office and advertising and such so he acts STUPID and offers me a job as the weather girl at his company! What an ASS!! He said his name wa Christopher Lewis or Cristopher Louis, whichever it may be.  Anyway when I told him I wasn't interested he insisted on playing a radio ad so I accepted, just to give this guy the benefit of a doubt.  When I told him I wasn't interested in advertising with them, he was asking me why! If I didn't have the money, etc.! After I spoke to him firmly and told him i'm not interested, he just hung up!  I hadn't even been rude to him! I'm sure he got farther with me than he had gotten with many of you!!! Anyway, I think it's a scam so BEWARE!!!

Just got a call like 5 min ago from this number. The caller said his name was JIM WILSON and sounded very casual, almost like he knew me. Then asked if the owner made it back in yet, I was kind of confused since the owner never left so I asked where he was calling from and if I could take a message, he said no message and hung up. I noticed a lot of talking in the background on his end? Maybe a scam? Don't know, but always get a call back number, a lot of times that can weed out the scamers.

This moron told me there was an opening for a weatherman if I wanted to do that job. What a [***]

Just got a call from this number, they asked me for the old office manager, and I told him he was no longer with us and that I was now the manager.  He asked who the owner was, and I asked him what the call was regarding, and he told me he had a legal matter to settle with the owner.  Since he had asked for the old manager I knew this was shady, so I insisted on helping him.  He started yelling at me and told me his client (whom he refused to name) was suing us and he needed to know who the owner was.  I just continued to ask him what it was regarding, and actually said to me "Are you going through puberty?  Do you need a glass of water?  This conversation is being recorded by the way, and I'm going to play it for the judge when we go to court because your company is shady and you won't let me talk to the owner."  I laughed, told him if it was a real lawsuit that he most certainly should play it for the judge and hung up on him.

He called back and got my assistant that time, and he got rude with her too so she just hung up on him.

Called me then after I answered they just hung up after about 5 seconds of background noise(other people of the phone and keyboards being typed on)

This company buys 30 second radio ads from radio stations all across the country. They buy them in bulk and purchase them for very cheap. In order to turn a profit, they turn around and try selling them to business owners for an EXTREMELY high markup. Ridiculous amounts, in fact.

They also do not "write" messages for your company. These messages are basically pre-written all the same for everyone with the only differences being the name of the company and then a little bit about what the company does. The reason I know this is because I own a business personally and have been harassed by these idiots multiple times and my brother-in-law has received the exact same phone calls. When we discussed this, we came to the conclusion that our "messages" that they "wrote up" for us were almost identical.

This is a typical telemarketing company that believes that their so-called casual approach and such is a good sales pitch. It's nonsense. It makes me sick that there are people in that company who are probably making a pretty decent living by using something like drunk driving to try and tug at the heart strings. My brother-in-law received a call around Veteran's Day and they said they were doing something "for the troops" at the station. Amazing. They are trying to use the US Armed Forces and Veterans as a ploy to turn a profit on a [***] radio ad. How these idiots can look at themselves in the mirror knowing that they are using such horrible things as a means of guilt tripping people into WAY overspending for radio ads is beyond me.

I would suggest to you all that you go beyond just this website as a way of spreading the word about this company. Tell everyone you know and find a way to spraad the word to other business owners. This is a company that profits between $5-$10 million a year! "For the kids". My ass. If the information about how big of a scam these people are doesn't go beyond this website, they will never be stopped. Good luck.

So terribly obvious that this is an employee of this nonsense company and I'd be willing to bet thousands he/she is between 17-21 years old. No business will just "double" based on a couple of 30 second ads running, any business owner with an accounant will tell you it's nothing more than humerous to believe that a sudden jump in revenue can be attributed to 30 second radio ads. Anyway, sorry for ranting, but I've taken my own personal method in getting the word out about these goofs (at least locally) and I would strongly suggest you all do the same. I stated in my above comment that this is a company who uses tragedies that many are forced into dealing with as a means of guilt tripping people into giving them money. Adding insult to injury (literally and figuratively), they are a company who profits between$5-$10 million based on what I've read. Sad to think they've got high school kids in there harassing people and more or less robbing them for bum paychecks. It's too bad too, they attack those who are actually good-hearted and would probably love to actually help or donate to things like drunk driving or supporting our troops. Honestly, how low can people go?

I don't see how this can be legal.  They asked if I was the business owner, which I am ~~ but told them no but that I could help them.  He said they were arranging a community project then hung up. He sounded very very immature and VERY unprofessional.  Started the conversation with "Hey, who's this?"

Call came from this 224 345 2360 number, the guy tells me his name is jim with chase bank, so I put him through to the owner, then he tells the owner his name is Jimmy Chase and starts offering rediculous positions down at the radio station, my boss mentions the national do not call registry and jim replys that the joke is on us becuase the registry is fugaze, then hangs up

These guys called me with the old radio ad gig for Drunks scam. I totally agreed to it as long as they send me a email & contract with the frequency ratings etc. He said there is no way to do that cause it is a special Promo. Well I got a special promo too! If these bums actually run my ad , I still wont pay them. So if you are legit , Thanks for the ad. If not Thanks for having someone to mess with again since I got out of Jail after 5 yrs.

In reference to comments by r. maynard and Clay Michaels...sounds as though the scammers are trying to mislead when they post here. You have also called our company and it is very obvious you are from a call center. Next time you call I will ask you to remove us from your call list...if you don't we will report to Attorney General.

He keeps calling and asking for the owner right away. As soon as I ask anything about him he hangs up on me. The one time I got him to talk a little he just made rude comments and refuses to identify himself. He is really annoying.

Says his name is brandon wylie, no company identified....very rude continues to call and ask for "the Boss" and then hangs up. I called back and left voicemail message to take us off his calling list and that I was reporting them to the authorities.  I am reporting them...they are rude and should be shut down.  If it's an organization to help kids and promote safety like the comment made on 6/18/2009 - what's the big secret of who you are.  It's a SCAM!  Don't trust them!!

No matter how many times I ask or tell these people to stop calling, they continue to call with little respect for us or the damages they cause my business or all the calls we loose speaking with them. We need to fight fire with fire. We need to call them over and over and over again, we need to block these people from ringing our phone..
I want to share with all of you how I plan to deal with telemarketers and if you like what you learn, Please feel free to use any information you wish to fight back.
I have worked non stop Since November 2009 to Jan 7 2010 working on a way to call these people back hundreds of thousands of times: annonymously and to set my business up with a way to block these people before they reach my cell phone. I now have one of the most advanced selective phone blocking system in the world connected to my cell phone.  The phone companies and techs I spoke with said it couldn't be done. I am here to tell you yes it can be done. There is a way to block, filter screen and reject any type of number or unknown number or unknown name to your cell phone and it didn't cost a lot of money.
I also found an auto dialer for the rude ass' that will call telemarketers thousands of times all day and all night. Think about it. Get there 1 800 number and you can drive there phone charges off the map causing them to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars in tolls. Auto dial there receptionist over and over all day and all night. Disrupt there business like they disrupt ours and there is nothing they can do about it. I plan to call telemarketers 1 800 numbers all night long when they are closed, there's no one around to catch the call.
Try to track down the name of the CEO of the company then track down his or her cell and home phone and ring it off the wall 24 hours a day, week after week month after month. Give them a taste of what they give us.
It's not always easy to get an inbound phone number for a telemarketing company. It takes time and research but it can be done.
Some telemarketer numbers can be tracked down Evan if they use a company to spoof the number and hide there real number.
You can Google the number and learn as much information about the company as possible,
Track down the carrier and that will lead you to the company spoofing the number.
Call the company and make an official complaint.
I found another way that helps track down telemarketers inbound phone number.
The phone company will issue phone numbers to large companies in blocks such as
224 345-2360 to 224 345-2390 this is a good way to find an inbound phone number to the CEO or receptionist.
Call the number and change the last one or two numbers, lower or higher and see whom answers. I start with Evan numbers in fives. I have tracked down a few telemarketers this way.
OK now for the good stuff.

Magic Jack can be activated from a lap top wireless at McDonald's or just about any place wireless. Plug it into any computer with Internet connection, land line or wireless and wow you have a working dial tone in about 5 minutes. It's amazing and Yes it works with Auto Dialer.
You can get an area code from Magic Jack to any 50 states in the united states. That's great for making them think your in a place your not.
When I call out on my Magic Jack it has an area code 2000 miles away.
Most telemarketers spoof there outgoing number using spoof company's.
If they can do it, so can I. If they find away to shut off my Magic Jack o'well, Ill go purchase another one. Really Simple....

and it will call the same number thousands of times fast than you can dial. If someone answers on the other end it will hang up on them and call again

So this is how it goes. The Magic Jack plugs into the front of the computer into USB
Then a short phone line plugs into Magic Jack and runs to the back and plugs into the modem, it's that simple, If your computer has an Internet connection you will have a dial tone to make or receive calls free in the United States or Canada in about 5 minutes of registration of the Magic Jack.

I have a main business phone number that was forwarded to my cell phone. I found out that it is an open invitation to all telemarketers from around the country and out of the country to call me 20 to 30 times per day..
Not a smart way to run a business. My business is only here in Utah, so what the heck does any person have the right to call me from New York or any other place out side of Utah.
I contacted my phone company and my cell phone company and asked what can be done to stop unwanted calls. Well the phone company has some enhanced blocking features and call enhanced forwarding features and the cell phone company had nothing to offer.
I turned to the Internet and found a wonderful program that does the job amazing well. It is called PhoneTraceFee. It logs every call that comes in, Date Time Name and phone number.
I dusted an old computer off down in the basement got my self a Zoom 3025c PCI Caller Id support full duplex dial up modem. I have winXP and installed the software. http://www.phonetray.com/phonetrayfree.htm It will play any wav file to any number assigned.
It also blocks and plays a disconnected message to unwanted callers and lets all business and paying customers in and rings the phone.
It also can block, out of area, no number, private number, any way you set it up. it's wonderful and it's free. It will log hundreds of thousands of calls and was tested to block ten thousand numbers. We like it so much we paid for it. We feel we need to support more companies making this type of software.
The trick is to get this software working out to your cell phone.. I found away.
OK this is how it works. A customer calls my main business phone line that has the computer connected to it, along with PhoneTraceFree installed. My phone line is programed to forward to my cell on a two ring cycle. That gives the computer one ring and a half to reject the call and play an out going disconnected message. If the computer does not pick up the call it auto forwards to my cell. It's Simple, I programed PhoneTraceFree to block all 1800 numbers, unknown unknown, out of area, long distance, blocked and all local unwanted and sales calls, none of these people can ring my cell phone again EVER
Note: 2 ring cycle. It's not call forwarding, it,s called "Don't Answer Call Forwarding" thru Qwest Communications and it took seven phone calls to the phone company to get it hooked up. The phone company offers it and it's not used much so it's hard to find.

I get a kick out of the person above that says cut them some slack. These people are rude, intrusive, and ignorant. They show contempt for your privacy, even after you tell them not to call again.
I like the whistle blowing when they call, I have a little toy that gives off a very very shrill noise, and for calls like this I use it every time. It stops a lot of those calls.
Don't feel bad about being rude right back to them. Tell them to shove their calls where the sun doesn't shine.
