Report a phone call from 231-732-2027 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- DaveA lady from "USW Cust Serv" (231-732-2027) keeps calling me as well. My wife answerd to most recent call. USW Cust Serv apparently has my credit card number and wanted to speak to me. My wife said I was not available and then asked what this was regarding. She said it was regarding a recent purchase with Vista Services on my credit card ending in (last four digits of my card number). She then asked my wife, "are you an authorized signer?" My wife said, "yes." She responded rather rudely with with, "well I don't see you as an authorized signer" and then she abruptly hung up on my wife.
This is the same behavior I've experienced on privious calls, where once I begin asking probing questions, the lady will immediately hang up on me. No legitimate company wanting my business would rudely hang up on me so it obvisous that this lady is engaging in fraud of some sort.
Now the clincher is that my phone number is on the national do not call list, which there are severe penalties to that law. Now I just need to figure out how to take action.- Caller: USW Cust Serv 231-732-2027

- Annoyed UserGot the same situation and then got a secondary call back after refusing to verify ZIP code from the number 727-326-5604 that seemed to be a second attempt to close the deal but then stated that I'd been removed and hung up on me.

- Jim replies to ericaThanks for that post! Haven't answered any of these calls yet, but will see if I can block them. If not, I'll answer and try your "get lost" approach.
- Lesline N.I got two calls from this number on my cell phone. The two calls were 15 minutes apart. I was reluctant to answer because I did not recognize the number. I answered and no one was on the other end. Probably an unwanted telemarketer call. How do we stop these people who eat up time on your cell phone? So irritating.
- Ben replies to Rick| 1 replySame here! I finally answered because today is Saturday....SATURDAY! They called and asked for Sara. I said I don't know a Sara and why are you calling my cell phone much less on a Saturday! They replied I'm not calling you I'm calling Sara to which I replied are you talking to Sara? Do I sound like Sara? Oh and who did you call? ME! MY PHONE! ON A SATURDAY!!! I'm sure I'll be getting more calls but I'm definitely filing a consumer complaint against these people. They have been calling my number for over a freaking month! I'm DONE!
Call the number and you get recording that says they are trying to reach me to confirm an order. I run a business from my phone...I'm pretty sure I know who I'm ordering from and none of my vendors call to confirm because I'm the one calling them. I'm on the DNC list, which is a freaking joke! I've been on there for over a year and I STILL GET CALLS! - Ben replies to DaveThanks Dave for providing that link!!
- AliI received a call from these [***] last week. Same story as what is written above. They wanted to send me "free gas cards" because "I'm a valued customer" and they had the last 4 digits from my debt card. I gave them NO information and got off the phone. It gave me a bad feeling so when I checked my bank a few days later and mysterious charges were there, I immediately linked the two. If these [***] call you and have any info on a card u have, I suggest you cancel the card immediatly! FYI, the charges were from "web root software, bloom avenue, and mag magazines"
I hope this helps someone else from charges appearing.- Caller: 2317322027

- annoyed replies to WendyIf this is the same company, they get your credit card info from places like WalMart. If you get the information in the mail, PLEASE check your bank statement and call them immediately to cancel. I somehow get the information they wanted to send and I was being charged approx $25.00 a month. They did this for three months before I evern noticed. This was before the ease of on-line banking. It is 100% a total scam.
- Emery replies to BenAre you sure it wasn't Peggy?!
Same thing happening here... - lost! replies to coreyDid they stop calling? I am almost scared to acknowledge that I am me by calling back. I had like a 20 "conversation" at them telling them to leave me alone and I wasnt going to confirm 'dip' with them and they hung up on me and now months later they are starting back up ughhhh
- Will replies to ericaSame thing hapened but when they told me they wanted to verify my credit card info I told them NO and that I wanted off their list. It sounded like a scam to me. I don't know what I purchased to get them to call either, they were very vague about it.
- Brooke replies to erica| 1 replyThis same exact story just happened to me and they had all my information. i looked at my bank statement online and theyve already taken out a $45 payment and that $2 "shipping cost". Im freaking out and don't know what to do!!!!! help me please!!
- SRPI keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. I don't answer it, but it is very annoying.
- BillI received an extended call from this number yesterday. They said I was a preferred "Visa" customer and they wanted to thank me by sending $120.00 in free gas vouchers. They added that they would send me information to review at my leisure about joining a discount purchasing plan where I could get discounts at several places. The call was then transferred to their "verification" department, to make sure they had my correct personal information, which included: my name, address, credit card information (number & expiration date). They gave a monthly cost to be charged to my account for the service and that I could cancel at any time. They continued repeating the same information over and over, as if they were in a vocal speed contest. So far they haven't called back, but I would like to know how they got so much personal information.

- Jen replies to BrookeErica- Call you bank immediately and tell them you are disputting the charges because you did not authorize it. I use a credit union and they understood a similar situation. You can even lead them to this thread if they want proof that this is one of those typical spam/scam folks. Or you could try to call these jokers back tell them you never authorized...
- Rose5Getting calls from this number saying they are having difficulties with there phone system. When I answered, they called me by my first name. There now blocked.
- Dr. JohnHe hung up as soon as I questioned him as to who he was with. He'd said Vista Services at the beginning of his spiel, but that wasn't enough info, so I figured I'd ask for more. Didn't even get a chance.
IMO - A total bait and scam.- Caller: Vista Services
