Their business number is 602-943-1244.  If you call them they claim that your number isn't in the system, but tell them anyway.  You can then file a complaint with the state of Arizona as well as the FCC.

Called and hung up again!! I gurantee the "Happy" post here was made by these scammers...either that or from the biggest sucker ever born!!

Got a phone call from this number today.  No one there when I answered.  At first, I thought it was a real call, because I grew up in Big Rapids, MI (one horse town with only two exchanges, 796 being the main one).  When I looked up the number and saw that it was Midwest Publishing, I was so mad.  I remember these scammers from when I lived there... they were notorious for cheating their telemarketers as well.

Getting frequent calls in the early evening. Playing back my messages, male caller refers to me by my first name and then states he is leaving the office and wanted to get back to me. Since I am not responding, caller says he will wait for a moment for me to pick up and eventually he hangs up. My recommendation is to report this company to the Do Not Call Registry.

Just got a call from them asked for someone who lived here before,Hung up in face, not the first time they have called.I am trying to get back in touch with them and let them hear me OUT!

I keep getting phone calls from this number (231-796-7051) and when I answer the phone no one will say anything.  My caller ID says Midwest Publishing but when I try to call it back the phone rung once and it made a buzzing sound.  I called again later and the number is always busy.  I am tried of these calls.  We work 2nd/3rd shift hours and this has caused me to have to keep the phone out of the bedroom so we can sleep.  I pay the bills in my home so I should be able to keep my phone wherever I want too.  What can be done to these people?

They called and wanted a donation to the fallen heroes fund. This money would go to the children for their education. I told them that I have given my limit for the year and could not help. I repeated this 5 times and then yelled at the guy to speak to a supervisor. Like that helped any he started on his rant. I asked to be taken off the list and nothing I had to just hang up. No respect from these people. Makes me wonder if this is not a scam!!

I am not exaggerating when I tell you this company has called me no less than *EIGHT* times between 9:00AM 09/14/2009 and 11:00AM 09/15/2009.  I have to pry the company name of out the stupid telemarketer(s).  I have told them they have the wrong number and to put my number on their internal do-not-call lists, but they refuse.  The reason for calling varies: Firefighter Fund, Fraternal Order of Police, Narcotics Officers Association, for the children, etc.  The "charities" they represent are endless though the charities only get a small amount of the money (like 1%).  These people are scum-sucking capitalistic scam artists, plain and simple, yet they are exempt from the National Do Not Call registry because they represent "non-profit" groups.  I have taken to reporting each and every call to the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm  I advise everyone else to do the same.  Let's shut these idiot DOWN. They are harassing me and refuse to heed my requests to be free from their incessant call.

The caller ID only shows "OUT OF AREA", but I have TrapCall setup on my cellphone. However, the number was still masked even at TrapCall, so I answered it. Guess who - effin' MIDWEST PUBLISHING COMPANY in Michigan, scam artists extraordinaire. They claim to solicit "charitable" donations for dozens of non-profits, including Narcotics Officers Association, Firemen's Charitable Fund, etc. I told them to stop calling me for the millionth time and hung up. I have *repeatedly* told them not to call me for ANY charity, fundraiser, or product they represent and to put me on their internal DO NOT CALL list. I do not donate to any charity over the phone, PERIOD. Yet they continue to call me, and it has gotten to the point of harassment.

They have somehow gotten my personal home phone number (though it is unlisted), and they call me all day long, from 8:30AM to 9:30PM at night. I blocked their number as well as any "anonymous" callers, so one of their asinine employees by the name of STEVE ROSZELL has taken to calling me at home all hours of the day from his PERSONAL CELLPHONE in an effort to get around my call block service. His cellphone number is (231) 250-8006, so I'm guessing he works for the Midwest Publishing facility in Big Rapids, MI.  In fact, I know he does because when I got the call on my cellphone I demanded that the person tell me his name, and he said, "This is Steve Roszell with the Narcotics Officer's Association."  LIE.  He is not a cop.  He is a scum-sucking telemarketer for Midwest Publishing.

On 10/12/2009 they called me at 10:13AM and 11:47AM. The 11:47AM call is when I told them to stop calling me on my cellphone. Then the calls began on my home phone. On 10/12/2009 they called my home phone at 8:22PM, 7:43PM, 7:42PM, 5:27PM, 5:22PM, 4:56PM, 4:51PM, 4:50PM, 3:20PM, and 12:22PM. That's a total of 12 calls on 10/12/2009.

On 10/14/2009 they called me on my home phone number at 9:05AM, 10:13AM, 11:02AM, 1:05PM, 1:23PM, 1:24PM, 2:38PM (Steve Roszell's personal cellphone number showed), 3:17PM, 3:23PM, 4:10PM, 4:11PM, 5:35PM, 6:15PM, 6:16PM (Steve Roszell's personal cellphone number showed),7:38PM , 7:50PM , 8:58PM. On that same day (10/14/2009), they also called me three more times on my cellphone despite me telling them two days earlier to never call me again at that number: 4:12PM and 6:16PM That is 19 (NINETEEN!!!) calls IN ONE DAY from effin' Midwest Publishing.

Today, 10/15/2009, it started again bright and early on my home phone at 8:58AM, which was once again immediately followed by a call from Steve Roszell's personal cellphone number (231-250-8006) at 9:05AM. The tool is still trying to figure out how to beat my Call Block service. (Good luck, moron!) If that isn't harassment, I don't know what is. I'm seriously considering legal action at this point. I feel they will not stop harassing me unless I initiate a lawsuit! This is ridiculous.

okay, all of you are [***] morons.  here is 3 things you all should know...

1) the "do not call" list is not your magical [***] barrior from telemarketers, it is for people trying to SELL you things, not trying to raise funds.  Do your [***] homework, non-profit orginizations are EXEMPT from the dnc list.  dumbasses.

2) not a single one of you has gotten a call on a saturday.  your an idiot.  stop lying to try to make a company look bad, act like adults about it and stop lying.

3) if you don't want them to calll, just ask to be put on their internal do not call list.  not that [***] hard, or you can just get on the internet and [***] about it like a 13 year old girl that got dumped by her boyfriend cause she wasn't pretty enough.  douches.


and you know, telemarketers may suck ass, but some people have families to feed, and at least they have a job, how many people do you know that don't have a job at all, and rely on someone else to pay their bills, and if that's what i have to do to feed MY [***] SON i'll bug the living [***] [***] out of all of you.  all you have to do as say please don't call, and go on with your [***] day.  they don't keep calling when you ask not 2, and it's not a scam because mpi is a FUNDRAISER!  not for just one place, so because they raise funds for many different orginizations that means they are a scam?  give me a break!  and all the places they raise funds for are COMPLETLY satisfied with what they get becasue these places like mpi are the only places that raise funds for these orginizations.  get your facts correct before you come on here and look like an idiot.
