I got an odd call from this number: +23222270686. It rang very briefly then stopped. Tried ringing back but couldn't connect.Can anyone provide any information. Thanks.

Called me at 09:50 on 21/10/2008. Missed the call and never called back due to number referring to a different country. Trying to find out who and why they called, unless it's a scam as usual.

I got a missed call from this number too. Its a scammer hoping you phone back, the number is listed to an address in Sierra Leone.

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer - Googled it and found this page. I never answer or call back any number I don't recognise, saves a lot of hassle.

Did same to me today - one ring then hung up. I didn't call back as another country.

Thought it was a scammer who would charge high call cost.

Never call anyone back if you do not recognise no - if it is important they will call back and/or leave msg.

I got one ring from this number too on 24.10.08 at 11.19 am. I wouldn't ring back in a million years to this type of call.

I have had a text and call from this today.  The text is about a parcel that needs to be delivered! Yeah Yeah!

Similar to above - this number rang briefly on my mobile today, after a text message yesterday from 07876 343 853 telling me i had an urgent parcel waiting for me.
Tried to ring the british mobile number back - but no response, surprise surprise.

The same number called me, it rang once and then cut off, What's going on????????????

Got a TXT message from +447765680951 that said
"!!URGENT!! Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery Please call NOW on +232222270682 For Delivery tomorrow International Parcel deliveries

Followed a day later by a missed call from the number above. definitely a scam

Just had the same thing at 14:02 on 27/10/08

[***] called me in the middle of a meeting and I called back...... Damn, just got charged £1.50 for 20secs!!!!

Got a call from this number called it back got an answer service saying there is a parcel to be delivered to me asking for my mobile number....  kept me on the phone for about 9 mins cost me £9 plus have now changed number on the advice of O2 in case of premium rate texts  what a [***]

Just got a call from the same number and also a SMS previous day about a parcel also...  Dumb ass!

My Boss keeps getting calls from +23222270686. The british number that texts him (07990648998) is different to those here, but the message is still the same.
