This number has called me several times & I finally decided to answer. Strong foreign accent, states I have a Virus on my computer. They said I need to allow them access to my computer & they will remove the viruses'. I told them that what you said to my elderly mom & charged her  over $1,400 & dialed into her computer & stole her passwords & instead of removing viruses’ they were the ones that put them on there. Told them I'm glad they called me, so I can update the police that they are still trying to commit fraud & they'll eventually be caught! Phone went dead!

SCAM: So-called Technical Support from Microsoft. I interrupted his speech with a never never call me again and blocked him on my iPhone.

Microsoft scam.  The moment he said he was from Microsoft, I said, "You are not.  You are lying, and you should be ashamed of yourself.  You should get an honest job."  Then I hung up and blocked the number.

These people have been harassing my mother and now me for over a year.  A total scam.  They keep changing their number, and now when they call I tell them that I hope that they go to jail for their illegal and unethical scam.  When I said that today, and the last time they called, "Kevin" immediately began yelling "F You" over and over again at me.  Please people tell everyone you know, especially older people, NEVER LET ANYONE TOUCH YOUR COMPUTER OR ACCESS IT IN ANY WAY if you don't know them.  They are exploiting a Windows security hole and are very dangerous.

No one from Microsoft or Windows will ever call you to tell you you have a virus on your computer nor will they ever contact you about anything that is going on with your computer they just don't call anyone. This is a scam artist who is trying to get into your computer to get your important information & your banking information. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION IT'S A TOTAL SCAM..................................................... STAY SAFE ! ! ! ! !

They call night and day. Never anyone there, except once, same as others a Windows repair. Total scam.

Calls up and leaves no message. I usually screen my calls.

I am thinking about setting up a DMZ machine just so that I can let them in, and can capture the IP addresses of the machines they use to inject the malware.  May do it as a virtual machine.  Then I'd like to turn their IP addy over to some blackhats I know....

Same, Heavy Indian accent. Tells me he's from Microsoft and that illegal activity is coming from my IP. I say, which one? Which IP? Already knowing it is a scam and he is trying to get access to my computer. Next I tell him that's really strange because I don't have a windows computer, I have all MACs. hangs up. I laugh. Microsoft moved to Ohio? How dumb do they think we are? I can't even get the real Microsoft to return my calls. Also, Microsoft doesn't investigate criminal activity. Law Enforcement does. If they ask, is this "my name" I respond with, who's this? Don't ever give out info to any caller unless you absolutely know who they are. Not even your name. It's a scam.
