Same here in Ireland got call at 9 this morning however my mobile company have blocked it and will not allow it be dialled... Good one Eircom;-)

i got a missed call from this number and rang it back.   i realised very quickly i was listening to 2 people who were supposedely have sex and I hung up immediately!  i dont get it, they have to make the call, to get you to ring back? how do they make their money?

same as everyone else.. had a missed call and when i rang back loads of moaning noises is all..

Hey i got a call from this number, what ever you do don't ring back it eats your credit trust me i rang back and it answered and i was on it for a few seconds when i realized what it was and i hung up, but it took a load of my credit!!! So be warned, its rang me a few times so it might ring everyone again

It makes its money because it hangs up before you have chance to answer therefore it spends no money on ringing but wen you ring back it takes a bunch of credit

they are using 2 numbers +239 9890113 / +2399890138 this is a island off the african coast.
Its a scam which you will be billed for.
I have spoken to Comreg they know all about it and the best they can offer is report it to the guards lol as we can do nothing with the scams going on here i thought he was joking.
Rang Vodafone they know about it as well when i suggested they block any numbers with a lot of calls coming from +239 he said they could not as it might stop business calls i thought he was joking

I've had four or five missed calls over the last few weeks from that same number. Wondered what the story was with it. So glad I found this page and realise now it is a scam. Think it's from some African country.

Same happened to me last Wednesday. I noticed a missed call and rang back and got the moaning noise. I hung up. The call lasted 14 seconds. Is there any point in ringing my service provider to stop money being added to my bill? I got another call this morning from 239980126- same scam

Got a call from this number on Saturday at 9.12am whcih i missed. The prefix dialling code is from Mauritius. Anyway i presume it was a Mauritian friend of mine so i rang back and assumed it wa someone taking the mick. Anyway really miffed to discover it cost me five euro for a ten second call.  MOST definitely a scam!

I just got a phono call from that number... I'm from Denmark!

It was a very quick call.. The phone only turned on the light, and that was it.

I called back, maybe it was the hospital, because min son and his wife are waiting for there baby.
First i wonder because of the noise of the women, thought i maybe have to drive them to the hospital.

Got the call here in Denmark at 16:12, but didn't answer.
