Called my cell, left no message.  Just got a new cell a few months ago and it's unlisted.  Not sure who they are.

They're bill collectors and they have been calling me practically everyday for a couple of weeks. They never left a message but the one time I answered it was an automated message saying they were bill collectors. I called back and they were looking for someone that I didn't even know so I told them to take my number off of their list. But it was pretty rude, they called me incessantly and didn't even have a real person on the other end.

Here is how to fix the problem.

1) Get yourself a faxing program for your computer. You should be able to find this for free online.
2) Use skype if possible and input this phone number we're talking about as a fax number into the software.
3) Set the preferences to retry every 5 seconds with no limit to retries.
4) The faxing software will call the number and will be unable to make a connection. At that point it will hang up, wait 5 seconds, and try again.

If you're unhappy about the tactics of West Asset Management maybe you should give one of the executives above a call - or 400 calls.

These guys have called my cellphone every day for two weeks now, they call at the same time, 11am. Since I did not pick up, they left a voice mail for a Shannon Rochester, whom i don't know, and ask me to call a 1-800 number with a reference number. I ignored these calls and now they started calling at 5pm!

I have not tried calling that 1-800 but might try to do it from a payphone and ask them to leave me alone.

I owe NO money to anyone. My credit is very good.

These people at 240-210-7118 called me on my NEW CELLPHONE.

The first time they called on Apr 2, I missed the call, and their recording demanded that *someone I never heard of* call them back asap. Not knowing what else to do without paying for even more minutes, I ignored the call.

The second time, on Apr 6, I answered, and a real person asked for the same unknown person they mentioned in their voice mail. I told them I never heard of this person, and this was a new, unlisted cellphone.

Ignoring that, they then asked if I knew where this other person was. I told them in no uncertain terms that I had NO idea, they were calling a new cell phone, and I didn't feel I should have to pay for their minutes!!! They then told me they would take my number off their "list"...

...this morning, Apr 14, they called again. I didn't answer, and thankfully they didn't leave a voice mail (which I would have had to pay minutes for).

I'm sure they will be spamming me again. I love my wireless plan, but can't block numbers unless I pay for a "parental control" feature, which I do not need. What do I do? :(

Got a call this a.m.from this number,
and thanks to this website, after I googled the number,
I had enuf nerve to call them back and hang up.
My attempt to annoy them back.

Missed their call, called back and they said they were looking for so and so, I said that's not me, they said you should not be receiving anymore calls. We shall see.

they called my cell phone & it's a recording trying to locate some one who does not live with me. I called them back & ask how they got my cell number no answer  told them to never call again

THESE FOLK HAVE BEEN RINGING MY PHONE FOR THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS. I dont know who & what they want I just ignore them. I wish they would stop bothering me. Indeed they are a nusance to say the very least. yeah they woke me up one morning and next few times I just never answered, whenever I see that number. What a bunch of losers!

I keep getting recorded calls from this firm despite never having dealt with them, nor owing anyone any money.  This is my cell phone, not my home phone.  I have never been notified of any debts, and when I call the number on the recording, I connect with a recording and am told to wait until the next available agent, and wait and wait.  This sounds like a scam of some type, and is using up my cell minutes.  Do I have to change my number?  The first calls from this number identified the recorded message as being for someone I don't know.  I wish these pests would stop!

This number has showed up on my caller ID numerous times. When I answer it, I get an automatic message, asking me to hold. My thoughts on this? Well, YOU called ME, so dont ask ME to hold for YOU. Have the courtesy to have a real person on the phone for me to talk to. You will never talk to me going about it the way you do! Got it?! Good.

my husband just got a call from this number on his out of state work phone and they asked for my mother.  they don't even have the same last name and have never lived in the same town.  they wouldn't give him any information. we got their number off of the caller id.  i'm glad we checked it out before calling them back.  what a bunch of tools.  they need to get a life and stop trying to take advantage of people especially during the current econonic state we are in.

My friend got a call from this number, they were inquiring about me. Don't know how they was able to connect me with my friend's cell phone number? Don't even know how they were able to get her cell phone number? And not only that, I don't even use my married name, I use my first marriage name, but they asked for me in my married name?

this place calls me everyother day..when i answer i am usually disconnected then they call again and leave a automated voicemail.
