It's a collection agency.  You owe someone money.

They are a scammer company.  They buy old debts that are past statue of limitations to try and make people pay and validate the debt again.  More than anything they'll just continue to harass don't give them a dime if you don't have to

Portfolio. Scam debt collectors. They buy old debts that are written off and post to your credit to screw up recovery. Most are paid off and they keep debt open.

Portfolio Recovery will actually take you to court over these old debts. It has happened to me. I refused to pay it and they put a lein on my property.

Stop that lie. If it is over SOL, they can not sue you, but you can definitely file a complaint against them!

They are a debt collector and they can take you to court- had my nice little officer serve me at home
Over a debt.. so talk to them before you get sued.

I am calling BS. Call your states attorneys office and get your rights explained to you. You talk to them and they can re-set the clock. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. They use a ton of different area codes. Do not answer calls you do not know
