Missed a call & called them back. Apparently I "won" a rebate card by purchasing something online or something. Pressed 1 to see how legit it was & a man with something like an Asian accent answered almost immediately. He tried to get me to pay for a $4 shipping fee & wanted to know my address. Asked him what company he's with & her said (with a heavy accent) "shopping saver". I hung up at that point probably a scam

"reward redemption"?  The ONLY Redemption I'm aware of involves a long drawn-out bloody and painful death, usually with participants Ving Rhames, Bruce Willis, and some masked gay guy called "The Gimp", who was most likely John Hurt or Gary Oldman or some other weirdo actor....

All Reality aside...  I did recently speak to someone from Michigan on the phone about a yob, some headhunter from a recruiting outfit... and that is when I began receiving half-assed calls from this 248-329-1996 number.  I was on a bus headed to The CamelToe INdian Cashino and the cellphone rang half a ring just like some of you reported... the scammers did NOT leave a voicemail, so they just wasted their own Time/Effort/Money/Emotion trying to get me to answer.

I figger the call was just some Beavis-n-[***] skill-less clumsy [***] working at a Call Center , new to the yob, trying to make his daily quota of cold calls but not knowing to stay on the phone call long enough to speak to a humanoid on the other end.

...and I'M the guy without a yob...

I also just got a call from them and came to see why on earth someone from Michigan would be calling me. I thought I accidentally hung up on them before I could even see who was calling, but maybe they had hung up after the first ring. Won't be calling back since everyone is saying it's probably a scam. Thanks guys!

Maybe you can't get a "job" because you can't even spell the damn thing. Just a thought.

I also got a call from this number.  I picked up on the first rang and there was no one on the other end.   Just a bunch of nothing for about 10 seconds then the call ended.  Also from Michigan

Cell phone received a call at 6:37 PST and no message left.

Rang once, then hung up. Got this call after visiting indeed.com....Michigan number...Maybe I should've answered it, heard there is going to be a head coaching job opening soon :)

Phone rang twice from this number, around 9pm on a work night. They hung up after two rings and left no message.

I got a missed call, no message left.

This number has been traced to Milford, MI ... I will keep searching for an exact location so we can all call them and hang up!

Declined this call on my cellphone, they did not leave a message.

Just signed up online to get reminders from Hallmark and phone rang for 1/2 second from this number.  They're probably just checking to see if its working phone number....now will probably get all kinds of sales calls. :(

Got a ½ ring from this number on my cell phone.  You can bet the rent this is a scam to get you to call them back and it probably costs buku-bucks on your phone bill.  Soooooo, yet another blocked number!

so much for "do not call" list.  This is just a never-ending voice message saying that I have a gift card coming. Nobody there to tell "please leave me alone"
