- Call type: Telemarketer
- MichealI have get this twice from three days
- Smitty| 1 replySCAM, Samsung records were hacked into a while back and they are making the rounds. Also, you should know that sometimes companies sell your information to third parties...I know, shock.
Don't answer, don't respond.- Caller: Warranty
- Yagot call from them again. Actually they call every other day, never left any messages..
- WorthFloridaFor the last eight weeks I've been getting this number on my cell phone and never get a response. Dead Air. I stopped answering it. It's a weird number so the very first time I saw the number I was very suspicious. I'm sure it is coming from another country and a scam.
- Caller: ??
- WorthFloridaJust because this is a Michigan area code, the call can come from any where in the world via an IP (internet protocol) phone connection. This is the same as your ISP server can be anywhere in the world.
- anonymousReported to the FCC via form 1088G.
- loon kahsuhnGot a hang-up. Re other commenters, we did buy a Samsung fridge/freezer last year and they recently completed some warranty work -- it was well done, the product is a good one -- so maybe it was a f-u and I didn't answer fast enough? (fourth ring)
- Sally replies to Smittyrecieved a phone call fron this number. Regarding a purchase I supposely made in June of last year stating that I purchased a Tom Tom.
I never purchased a Tom Tom, but I do own a Garmin and purchaed it in September. Knew right then that it was a scam. Maybe HHGregg has been hacked too - MikeTI receive 1-2 calls per day from this number and when I pick up there is just dead air. If I let it go into voicemail, it just hangs up.
- TommyThey are most likely using an auto-dialer. They get around that law by not playing an ad and having someone answer it live. They may be offering a legit product, but the bottom line is its coming from a call room where a lot of undesirables work. Don't give them your card info.
- PaulRepeated calls with no message left. No caller ID. I never answer when I have no idea who is calling. I just ignore them.
- KiraThe caller tried to sell extended warranty for my Samsung washer. They immediately asked for my credit card number. I asked them if there is phone I can call back if I decided to purchase. I got hung up.
100% Scam- Caller: Scam
- Samsung userI keep getting these calls. Told the guy if this is legit send me some mail about it or give me a website so i can do research on his company and he hung up. BEWARE COMPLETE SCAM CALL.
- SpeedieWe have begun getting calls from this number just recently, usually about 8:00 PM EST. We do not answer because we do not recognize the number. We have bought Samsung appliances recently, so now that I see that it is Samsung calling, I will answer next time they call, IF it's a reasonable hour of the day. BBB (Better Business Bureau) of Michigan confirms that this number does belong to Samsung, but the company is NOT BBB accredited.
Hope this info is helpful.- Caller: Samsung
- klever45Called at 8.58pm which is just about past the time a telemarketer can call legitimately. Never dealt with them and don't know how they even know I have a Samsung washing machine. I hung up and will block the number. He was angry that I was angry it was so late. Really??
- Call type: Telemarketer
- kidrocIt all started 2 weeks ago. Calls from this number were coming in at different times and they wouldn't leave a message. That said, if I don't recognize the number I don't answer. I did the *67 call back and they answered. wow, I got through. They offered me a extended warranty for microwave oven I purchased at HHGreg. there words not mine. I declined and hung up. when they call me next time I'll decline and ask to be taken off list. I'm not surprised now a days if we all didn't get more nuisance phone calls. since our phone numbers are attached with online orders, Google and social media.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ChasvilleCalls at least once a day. Never leaves a message. We have recently purchased Samsung products from Lowe's so comments by others could apply.
