Who is this calling my home phone number? Please let me know what exactly your purpose is.

Scam alert. A law firm willnot call u directly. They will email and send letters. They would not email or send me letter of validatio. Also, statute of limitations is 6 years for hospital debt they referred to my closed act. From 2009. Per theattorney for the agecy i actually paid.

Rude and call multiple times these people need to be shut down and taught how to treat people

It’s Armstrong atty at law calling to collect on a bill from Providence Hospital, which is a “non-profit” hospital and when I was seen in the ER I explained to them that I would need assistance in helping to pay my hospital bill for the portion my insurance did not pay because my 3 year old son has leukemia and I’m unable to work because we are in and out of the hospital so much with him that I’ve been let go from numerous jobs and I am a single mom. They said that they could provide me with some assistance, but acted very rude and unprofessional about it and I can not help the card my son was dealt to, childhood cancer. Believe me, I wish I could hold down a full time job, but, that is totally impossible at this point in my life with my son almost on his death bed and they acted like they had no care in their body about it. They never sent me any paperwork work fill out dor assistant as I requested when I was there and on numerous occasions and now it’s been so long that they sent my account to this attorney that is threatening to sue for the money due that I can’t pay. I’m sorry, but I have to put a roof over my child’s head first along with utilities, water, etc and provide food and buy his monthly cancer meds and after that I have no extra money left after gas for my car to make it to my child’s chemotherapy appointments to save his life and that’s my #1 priority right now. You can’t squeeze blood from a turnip. The reason I had to be seen and admitted at Providence was for a mild heart attack. Otherwise, I’d never would’ve stepped foot in that hospital because I can’t afford any more medical bills. Not sure what the attorneys can do if I don’t have a pot to pee in barely. I don’t have a checking account to “freeze” and we live in government housing and not by choice. The atty office personnel I spoke with was very rude and I’m sorry, but, they can call all they want, threaten me, and do what they’ve been hired to do, but my child’s life and well being MUST come FIRST and keeping him alive is my #1 priority. So I’m very sorry Armstrong atty at law, you can harass me all you want, but my child, his  health is and must be my number one concern and at this time if me sending you $5.00 minimum a month is not acceptable, which is all I can pay at this time, I can not pay you. They wanted a minimum of $35.00 per month, no exceptions, and to some that’s not much, but to me as a single unemployed mom with a child of cancer, it’s a lot. Charities donate money to that hospital for people in my situation, but what’s a singe mom to do when I can’t get anyone to do their job and on time so y account won’t get sent to an atty for collections. What would you do if you were in my shoes Armstrong atty at law/Providence Hospital?

Called looking for my 19 year old son about a debt at UAB Children's. I told them the hospital has no record of the debt and she said "I can't discuss this with anyone but him." I told her I'd be contacting the hospital directly and she hung up.

Scam caller.  Left no message

Armstrong and Associates trying to collect for Thomas Hospital.   The call me at least five times throughout the day.

Called and hung up. I'm glad I found these comments so I could block the number.

Armstrong bill collector mainly medical big or small.
They nagged the heck out of my son for a $25 dental bill.
If they  need to contact someone in my family then they ought to leave a message. Not wait for it to go to voicemail and then hang up , making it appear a message has been given.
They call right before lunch, every time.
For some reason they can't understand people work for a living and they may need to leave a message with business hours so a call can be returned.
Talked to the kids, daughter in law was in a car accident 6 months ago (she's ok) but a doc visit wasn't sent to the insurance.
So I guess they nag you over bills that aren't even yours to pay.

They don't leave messages because then it would be an attempt to collect a debt and they would be required to send you a dunning letter. Attempting to collect a debt that you don't owe is illegal. I would certainly never pay this outfit until they were made to follow all state and federal collection laws.
