it is legit, I have ordered stuff from them for about 4 years, got pepper spray, brooms, windchimes and a mop....they do call about 4 times a year, just thought I would share that info, it helps keep blind and handicap people employed.

If they want to be honest, they would change their caller ID to show their company name. As is they are lying before we even pick up the phone.

I can understand what you are saying.. I don't believe however that this 2516627589 is connected with this company. Best thing is to have the number block and not bombard this company for what they do because someone has posted their opinion and toll free number I'm sure they may be just as confused as we are for that post.,. I do however believe the other post that telemarketers are disguising their number to get an answer first. If it was the company selling for the Deaf and Blind they would not sit on the phone and not answer. I don't get an answer from anyone on it.. they just hang up after a while. And I'm sure that they are not using the "deaf" to sell their products that way.

WTF? This number calls with  caller ID James Sherman several times a day and just hangs up, never leaves a message. Stop calling.

Called, she said I supported the Handicapped in the past for $75.00.  They would appreciate it for that amount or smaller.  I said we are having a hard time now paying our bills and she just hung up.  The real Handicapped places that use to call showed on the caller ID.  and they were always polite if you could not help.  This must be someone wanting money for themselves.  The name was Sherman James 215-662-7589.

I just got one of these calls and I do not think this is someone from Deaf and Blind...they said they were calling for support of Blind and Handicap workers...I also put the number in my Google and the number came up as an Iowa number for James P. Sherman and this is listed with an address as a low-income family supposedly in Iowa and gives the address. I believe this is someone trying to scam for money!!

I have been getting these calls for weeks but I don't answer...if it is the light bulb company, I did order some from a company that employs the handicapped, or something like that, several years ago.  They were pretty expensive but I figured it was for charity so it was worth it one time.... but to keep getting these annoying calls every day is too much.  I'm blocking them.

They called this morning after many previous calls which were unanswered. Same sales pitch as many others here have described. I asked if I could call the "salesperson" back, and she said no. I asked if she could call me back in an hour. (giving me time on the internet to research them) She said she would call me back at 11AM, and haven't heard from them since. Thank goodness to that since they are obviously a FOR profit company whose sales practices are deceptive in nature, and misleading at best.

I have seen this number on my caller ID for the last few days. They never leave a message, but continue to call every morning.  Caller ID says Sherman, James. Phone number is 251-662-7589. Have not answered any calls from them, figured I see what they said in message.
