The Country Code of the caller is from Somalia. They have acces at a database, this time a romanian one. They will "beep" each number for a short period, waiting for you to call back. If you call, it doesn't matter if they answer or not, your bill will be charged with a good amount of money.
Be advised: ignore the call! Do not call back by any means!!! Unless you have spare money to pay for your phone.

Got the phonecall right in the middle of reading an SMS message and i responeded to the f***ers and they immediately hang up lol :)

i can say for sure i was not taxed for answering the call but they sure were taxed for calling. ( that`s the way things work here in romania.. you dont get charged for an incomming call )

Cred ca deja s-au imbogatit cu aia si acum au trecut la romani, dupa ce probabil telefonului i-au fost "oprite" apelurie catre Suedia. So, cine site cate mii de euro / dolari o sa aveti de plata. Naspa, ce sa zic...

i was getting calls from this number last year, would ring me 5 times one after the other or would get 3 or five missed calls when i'm asleep, if i answered it was hanged up or mumbling with i could never make out, i also got called wuth numbers starting with 252 but ending with different numbers, i ended up getting a new mobile as the i had did not have call barring

I've been called also today...but i usually don't call back unknown numbers...lucky me :)...

I got a call also from this number, it was around 1 pm. I called back but I got lucky because I'm using a prepay sim card. But it got me thinkin' about our government and the fact that they listen to our calls ;)

i live in united states and i have a romanian cellphone also...and i got a phone call from this number.... on the romanian number...this is weird.. number is located somewhere in somalia... after country code
