the person rudely hung up on me while i'm trying to explain why its annoying to get these call every day ,sometime 3or 4 times a day .

i am on do not call  list...i want no calls from this number!

Someone get an address so we can call the law for arrests. The dummies mispronounce my name and hang up when I say "who?"  We need to have all telephone companies block all calls from India

Use a police whistle or a small air horn and blow it as hard as you can when these people call.  I do and hopefully they get an earful of hurt and won't be calling back.

I started getting up to twelve calls a day and it is now down to one.  It started when I ordered a free diabetic cook book from TV.  The earlier calls had a live person on the phone but the latest ones seem to be automated.  It only slowed down after I demanded they give me a supervisor and yelled at them to quit calling and take our name off their list.  It was several different companies so I had to go through that several times.

The phone rings there is a pause then someone comes one briefly then hangs up the phone. I called back the number it rings once then goes silent.

heres what i did went to dollar tree got a few air horn cans -- when it says press to speak to some one i press that number wait for some  one to say hello then let the air horn rip- if they're still there after about 20 seconds of air horn in their ears i say i'm on the do not calist and i have reported your company to the medicare fraud hotline -- please call back so i can blow the air horn in your ears again. that caller rarely calls back

These calls keep coming in.  I answer and there is no one on the line..  If I wait they ask for my husband and then hang up when I say he is not available.

How can I get this stopped once and for all. Oh, by the way job hunters, every time you click on a job site, that's when all the phone ringing starts.

they have called my and my wife's home # a few times asking for my mother, who is deceased.  It's obvious they are after seniors.  Anyway, we have phones that has a call block feature which when they call now, it gives them an initial busy signal and auto-hangup following.  MOST, if not all portable phones that sell in wholesale stores and others have this blocking feature.  I have at least 10 #'s blocked.  I would recommend to never talk with them or request them not to call, just block the call if you have that function.

They keep calling my elderly parents. I have tried to explain to my parents not to answer the phone these days that there is scammers out there trying to get information from them to use against them. But I can't get them to stop answering the phone. I am afraid they will give them too much information and hurt my parents somehow by using some information they get from them. I am there as much as I can so I see these calls come in and I go through their caller ID. I have put their phone number already on the Do Not Call List.

What else can I do?  Plese help me with some ideas. I do not work and only take care of them. When I am there, thereis no reason to even answer the phone. If my husband needs to get a hold of them he always uses his cell phone. Unfortuneately they never use their caller ID for a buffer.
