me too, late at night = ( ??

Got a call from this number today.  Short survey about appliances in our home, asking if we had gas or electric heat, top load or front load washer, do we own a water filtration system, do we have an air filter, bag or bagless vaccuum.  No questions that would really identify much about our family.  She didn't ask me for any personal information. Thanked me for my time.  Don't remember who she said she was calling for when I answered.

The company is Coastal Air.  Used to be in Bremerton, now in Olympia.  After you take the survey the next call will be to set up an appointment, supposedly an hour long, but it lasts nearly 3 hours.  You "win" a prize of BBQ tools (cheap), a blanket or car emergency kit.  Then they come to your house with an air cleaning system that stinks up the room they put it in.  Then they show you a filter queen vacuum which is way over priced and not worth the $3500!!!  Total waste of 3 hours.

got a call from them tonight at 5:00 i they asked for my wife and when i told them she was not home they hung up on me that did not fly with me so I did some homework and came up with this

I called and spoke with the owner and told him what happened and to REMOVE me from the calling list
He asured me that it was not company policy to hang up on anyone and I would be removed from his list
please call him and report any rude calls.

I can't believe they'd call on the night before Christmas Eve and we're all  busy.  This is family time.  And...that's WAY too much to get your ducts cleaned.

I got a call asking for me by my first name (not "Bob"). I asked "who is calling?" and they hung up.  If you dial them back and press "111" when the voice mail asks for the extension, you will be able to leave a voice mail. I suggest this is more than a phony debyt collector or telemarketer - this is telephone harassment, which is a crime (I know, I am an attorney). I left them a message telling them to expect a call from the prosecutor.  Maybe everyone should do this?

Thank you for the info, I was at my parents tonight and they called after 9:00 pm on a week night! Both my parents were in bed for work tomorrow and they hung up on us also. I submitted a complaint also.

They are not members of the BBB in Olympia -- I went and looked. Despite that, the BBB gives them an A rating. Would calls reporting nuisances be noted if they're not a member?

The BBB is a scam all it self. You must pay them for a a good rating. Walmart gets millions of complaints every year yet still have an A rating. Why, because they pay for the A rating. Maybe you should do research before criticizing someone for a job to make money. It is not illegal to call someone at home
