Just got a call from this number... Did a quick lookup on this site and did not answer.  Thanks!!  What gets me is that in my job I get calls from all sorts of area codes because people today are transient and keep their old cell phone numbers from where they lived before, i.e. military.  Your site is a BIG help in deciding which calls to answer.

Just got a call on my business phone. Answered and nothing was said. After about 30 seconds the line disconnected.

Call came from Tacoma, WA to Kansas at 20:08 hours CDT on 3-14-12. Call not answered and no message left. Caller ID said "Pacifictel". Other sites report this outfit was running a political survey. Another entry advised that they tried to sell him timeshares in the Bahamas.

I received a call in late afternoon that woke my grandson from his nap!! Was I Mad! No one on the line! I think I'll get a police whistle and use if the call comes through again! This is so annoying!!

Received voice message on my mobile phone at 7:22 pm yesterday.  Four seconds of silence.

That's strange because when I tried to call it back it rang once and then the call was disconnected.

I also keep getting calls from this number. I do not answer and no message is ever left.  Will keep trying to stop the calls because they do also call my personal cell phone number.

same company that also calls from 360-529-6156 is my belief. they call alternating days. Very similar reports. Tacoma Wa. And Olympia Wa locations, Probably a family business! LOL

The call from 253-382-9076 (Pacifictel) is a phony survey to win a cruse.
Do not fall for the phony scum sucking scam artist.
They have over 30 telephone numbers, so blocking is difficult.

Their phone number changes so often that it does no good to block the number. Since I don't know anyone in the Tacoma WA area, I just enter a new contact in my list (use any name or phrase you want), in the phone number block, just enter the area code (253). Then go to this contact, scroll down to the "reject" setting, and ANY call from the 253 area code is rejected -- no matter if they change phone numbers or not.

Why get mad when they call waste there time they are getting commission not hourly pay so have some fun with it make them think you are interested tell them you where waiting for their call, When they ask for the “OWNER” tell them that you are, Make an appointment tell them that you moved to a new city or country! Ask a lot of questions, tell them you are getting your credit card and put them on hold!
WHY LET THEM GET TO YOU? DO NOT GIVE THEM THE SATISFACTION! Believe me they are not worth it!

They tell these “STUPID” people that they will make tons of $$$$$$$$$$ on commission something like a 30% to 70% split or less not hourly great for the owners (NO RISK!!!!!)
But (WAY BAD FOR THE “STUPID PEOPLE DOING THE CALLING) all the risk and they get to be yelled at all day and best of all THEY MAKE ZERO $$$$$$ FOR ALL THERE HARD WORK!!!!!!

QUESTION HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE THESE “STUPID PEOPLE” TO GET A CLUE THAT THEY ARE BEING “USED”!!!!?????

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks he’s a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving. CBS, NBC and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can it be that, in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Then a representative of the NAAGB (The National Association for the Advancement of Green Bugs) shows up on Night line and charges the ant with green bias, and makes the case that the grasshopper is the victim of 30 million years of green-ism. Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when he sings ‘‘It’s not easy being green.’’
Bill and Hillary Clinton make a special guest appearance on the CBS Evening News to tell a concerned Dan Rather that they will do everything they can for the grasshopper who has been denied the prosperity he deserves by those who benefited unfairly during the Reagan summers.
Richard Gephardt exclaims in an interview with Peter Jennings that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and calls for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his ‘‘fair share.’’ Finally, the EEOC drafts the ‘‘Economic Equity and Anti-Green-ism Act’’ retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, files for bankruptcy, and his home is confiscated by the courts.
Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal hearing officers that Bill appointed from a list of single-parent welfare moms who can only hear cases on Thursday’s between 1:30 and 3 PM.
The ant loses the case.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant’s food while the government house he’s in, which just happens to be the ant’s old house, crumbles around him since he doesn’t know how to maintain it. The ant has disappeared in the snow. And on the TV, which the grasshopper bought by selling most of the ant’s food, they are showing Bill Clinton standing before a wildly applauding group of Democrats announcing that a new era of ‘‘fairness’’ has dawned in America.

Just received a call at 9:08 CST.  Not recognizing the number I did not pick up.

Over and over  and over I have been getting calls from Political Opinions of America 253-382-9076
I finally waited to see what it is about and talk to sales for this scam. I plan to put a complain to the Federal Trade Communication and everybody should do this too.
I found out the Do Not Call List is not a law but saying I wish you do not call and has no teeth.

Just got a call from this number -- and my thoughts exactly.  I'm adding this to my "spam" contact in my phone so if this number calls again, it won't ring.

FREE cruise scam disguised by a political survey tacked on up front.

It lets them ignore the telemarketing rules because they are "political".

Got a call from this no. today.   Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer and no voicemail msg left.   If your number is listed on the Do Not Call register and they keep calling I suggest you report them on the Do Not Call website.   I have done this with a couple of numbers previously and eventually they stop calling.   I would like to think they were tracked down and fined for calling my number when it is registered with DNC.
