Received a text.  knew my name, ask "is this >>>Full name that I don't go by>>>>?"    I didn't respond and they haven't texted back.

My husband received same text message, "hey is this (name)?"

Got the same text

Got the same as previous callers

I got the same thing Easter Sunday Morning

Solicitation......Person named Kevin purchasing homes in the area.

Just got the same one a minute ago. Blocked and deleted.

I got the Hey, is this <<firstname>> text. Almost fell for it. After seeing these posts, it's spam.

On 4/27/22 Got the same text message as above with my first name only.

"Hey! Is this David?"
Thought it might be an uncle or cousin or something.  Someone looking to buy homes??  So obnoxious.

Got the same message. "Hey. Is this _____?"
They used a name I usually don't go by.  Blocked.

- This was a person wanting to "buy" homes even though I had already sold my home.  They don't want you to list it, will offer you well below market value, did not seem to be legit and I post this out there to hopefully eliminate someone from getting scammed.  Don't engage!

Received a text message. Asking me to confirm my first name. I replied who is this, and their response was this is Kevin looking to purchase homes, in the neighborhood that I live in.

I replied back, No, this is Kevin, I'm looking to buy houses in your area.    Then I blocked the number.

Got the same text  as above - hey! Is this xxx???

I didn't respond. Decided to look it up. Seems like a scam.

Several harassing messages wanted to get information about buying houses.

I've been getting calls and txts from this guy for years asking to buy property I don't own and thinks I'm someone else. If he is using old numbers they're ancient bc I've had the same num. over a decade. I live in a suburb of Mlk, wi. According to my research he is in Racine, and he seems to be in reality.
