Received multiple calls this and other 268-762 numbers. No response and no way to call back. Is anyone successful in shutting them out?

I would recommend going onto your cell phone provider's site and blocking this number.  I have done it before for other soliciting phone calls and it worked, but is not permanent.

This number has ramped up in the time span of a few days..look at everyone here?

You are being called from abroad to subject you to scam!

You will get charged at a premium call rate, if you call back and the scammers would get a portion of it. You will be kept on hold, while they play music or even run erotic audio tapes in an effort to keep you hooked. The longer they manage to keep a victim on the call, the higher they make.

These calls arrive at night or early in the morning and would ring only once or twice, ensuring the call is missed. Being off guard at such odd times, many people end up calling back, only to be kept on the phone line, for several minutes.

If the display shows + 268 the call must be from Swaziland
If the display shows 1-268, the call must be Antigua and Barbuda

Got a call  from this  number  twice  already

Stupid me. Got a missed call after 11pm and called it back for under a minute heard techno type.music and an automated message. I just bread that this will charge me. Not happy at all.

I just got this called so i called this number. its just said "waiting for the operator" then it broke out some trippy house music and kept repeating that phrase.

I was part of the Target breach and just received that same phone call.  Chase Bank is sending me a new card because of this.

I was apart of the target data breach and I just received a call from this number and a call yesterday from Dominica....strange. Sounds like I need to change my number :(

Got a call. Rang twice. Nothing else.

Got two calls on two different days from this number. Both around 5:30 or so. Had already heard about a phone scam so I didn't answer or call back. I never shop at target so that's not how they got my number.

Also received a call from Domenica a few days ago -- same thing; it rang once and hung up.  I did not call it back.  Now this morning I received the one from Antiqua/Barbuda.  I have shopped at Target in the past, but did not shop there during the breach dates this year.

Got a phone call from this number at 6:30 this morning.  Received one from Dominica on Monday.  Both times it rang once and hung up, no message.  I did not shop at Target during the breach dates, so I don't believe it's connected to that.   I did not call the numbers back, assuming it's some kind of scam.

Well i don't have anything to do with target so I wouldn't have gotten it

They want you to call back - its a high rate pay number. You'll end up with a huge bill.
