Received the "one ring-hang up" call today @ 12:40pm . . .   I am in Oregon.  Had heard on the news last week of these scam calls with the "one ring-hang up", but was surprised nonetheless to actually receive one myself.  I have Verizon.

I live in GA. With a Calif. Number I've had 2 calls from this number  did not answer

Called 2xs today- rang once each time -- NJ

This number called me on 012814 at 1648 hours central time.  Just a hang-up call.  I'll add it to Scam listing in my phone!

Just got a call from (268) 762-0158.  Rang once or twice and then stopped.  Yesterday I got a call from (268) 762-0022.  Same deal.

They called me at 5:00 am Pacific time. I am in California.  I did not answer due to the early time.

Just got a notice from the BBB that the calls that call and let it ring once and hang up are scammers.  You answer, or call back and they charge you for international calls, and even possible enroll you for some 'monthly' club that you are 'authorizing' by calling them back :(

I got the call on Jan 27th at 3:47pm on my cell phone. Luckily on vibrate & didn't answer. I usually never give my cell phone number out but recently went on trip & put my cell # in US Airways app to get notifications of changes. Bad weather. Is this how people get my cell #. Anyone else get on cell phone or just home phone?

Warning! to anyone who received a call from 268. I got a call from this # & now my Verizon bill was charged $436.17!!!!!!!!!!!Just for 4 seconds when I answered.

In IL, called at 0600 hours, didn't answer, deft a scam, Antigua/Barbuda
