Same story....Numerous calls in a few hours. I haven't picked up yet, but I am glad that I found some sympathizers. I recently posted/updated my business on Merchant Circle. That is probably where they got the number.

3 calls in 4 hours! Answered the last call and same story, they asked for me by first name (which i didnt care for, unprofessional, stated it was in refernce to card # XXX and that I qualified for a $100 rebate. Couldnt tell me what purchase, when and where it was made and why that wasnt marketed in the first place when I made the purchase. Who gives away free money without advertising it as a way to sell a product?? I said I wasnt interested and hung up. Hopefully no more calls?? Now to cancel my debit card just to be safe.

I work at night so... calling me 4 times a day is making me REALLY angry. Once, ok, even though I'm on the "do not call list" I understand some slip out. Why has no one stopped this person yet?

I must get 3-4 calls a day from this number, I never answer, they go to voice mail but no one leaves a message, very annoying!  Why do we even have a "Do Not Call" system?

I got home from work yesterday to find this phone number on my caller id 7 times in a 5 hour window! Right after dinner the phone rings and my husband says its for me.  The lady on the phone told me I won $100 voucher because of recent purchase I made with my Visa card.  She couldn't tell me when I made this purchase, the amount, or whom I made this purchase with.  She kept going on and going about how I can save thousands of dollars a year with this auto rebates card and just needed $1.95 for shipping and handling and then I have 10 days to review the packet and then it's $27.99 a month.  I told her this is a scam and I'm not interested, then she told me the last 4 numbers of "my" Visa card I made the purchase on, and said I don't have a card with those ending numbers, this is a SCAM good-bye and hung up.  They better not call me back!

I just received a suspicious call at my office. The lady wanted to confirm my billing address to send me a $100 voucher to be redeemed at Wal-Mart or Target. I told the lady I do not give information over the phone, and she insisted on confirming my city. I repeated I do not give information over the phone and hung immediately. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE INFORMATION TO THIS PHONE #!!! They are a SCAM. I called my card provider immediately and asked them to flag my account for supicious activity. The odd thing is they called a phone number that is not linked to my card account. Therefore I speculate they have acquired information from an online purchase and probably had my office line as the daytime #. I feel they are trying to verify information for MALICIOUS INTENT!

I am on the 'Do Not Call List' - looks like some people don't care about that!

This is definitely fraud.  Luckily for me my credit card company caught it first and immediately notified me so I could close my account.  Do not give these people any information, luckily I did not.

I also received numerous calls over 3-4 days. When I did finally speak with someone same story except they claimed to be a rep from my bank. I filed police report after I canceled my debit card.

Get calls from 269-768-2623 indicating that they are from my bank.    I do not have a bank and only use credit unions for all accounts and cards.   THIS IS A SCAM.   For this reason I only use locally trusted credit unions for all transqactions.

Hey a get to join the club!! I've just received two calls from the above number. The calls were placed today,01/08/10, about three hours apart. I didn't answer so I did'nt know who or what it was.But thanks to you all Now I know what this number is all about.

I received 3 calls from them today at 9:30am, 11:14a and 12:13pm. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message.

I'm am listed on the GOVERNMENT DO NOT CALL list and will be reporting this company as violator.

If this company recieves enough complaints, maybe the Government will fine them for being a nuisance.

I just received a call from (269)768-2623.  The only way I know the phone number is because I dialed *69 on my phone and got the number.  They told me that my order has been shipped.  I have not ordered anything lately.  They mentioned that I used a credit card and I asked them how did they know.  The girl on the other end started to do the "back stroke" I told them that I was not interested. I too and on the National Do Not Call list.  I called the number back and there was an option to have them not call back.  I then looked up the phone number using various reverse phone number look-up and the call came out of Belleville or Bellevue, Michigan.  Seem pretty fishy to me.

I've  been called from these people several times today. i do not know how they got my #, I've had this # for years. they haven't left a message. when i call back it doesn't go anywhere, doesn't even ring... how do i get them to stop calling???

I have no idea who this is or what its for. No messages are left.

They called me four times just today.
First time I picked up he said they were going to send me $100 store credit card.  I just had to review envelope they were going to send me.
I asked where he got my phone number.
Said I must have purchased something from partner and said I would accept sales calls.  I know that I would never agree to that and hung up.
They only place I can figure out would have cc number and cell number??

We have received at least four calls in 24 hours.  They are phishing!  We don't answer anymore.  It seems to me that the web site 'www.DoNotCall.gov' is not working.

I've been getting repeated calls from 269-768-2623, 616-980-1153, 267-690-9332 and finally answered one.  They said they were calling on behalf of my Visa card and offered me some "$100 coupons that they will send through the mail for a credit card account number ending in XXXX" and then went on to say that it would be a $1.95 shipping fee to send this package to me.  SCAM!!!  And they wanted to verify that still lived in the same city and was between 18-75 years old.  I should've told him I was 76 and see what he said.  So basically all he knew was the lst 4 digits of my card, the city I lived, and my phone number.  I know the next question was going to ask for the CVV numbers on the back of my card to confirm so I quickly told him if they are charging me anything, I don't want it.  I get free junk mail all the time, so why would I want to pay for some more?  If any mystery numbers call you and ask for any info, don't be a sucker.  And feel free to call these numbers back (at odd hours and often) so they can be as annoyed as I am.

I have been getting calls from this number for 1-2 weeks now - up to 10 or more calls a day!  They just don't stop!  Getting very annoyed and irritated.  I do not answer the call as I do not recognize the number.  Did a google on the number and it brought me here.  I am joining in on the protest. I am also on the DO NOT CALL list and do not have credit cards.  So, if they have information I don't know where they are getting it.  I have not ordered anything so I don't know where or how they got my information.  I have enough to worry about then have to deal with people like this!

How DO we get them to stop these calls?

Just submitted complaint to FTC as I've been on the list for nearly a year.  There is no reaason I should be receiving calls from any telemarketers as I don't do any unusal business.  Hope the FTC really does act.
