But it probably is not this guy. And I am not convinced that is it a warranty scam. I am more willing to believe that this a phone hi-jacking phenomena. They either do not want to be traced, and/or they are piggy-backing on your number to make out-going calls free. Jenkins is just the number of the day to be abused. You can buy spoofing services from a bunch of internet freaks. This has been written up in the news where a stalker can hide his nefarious business.

Called cell. Did not recognize #; did not answer phone. Caller did not leave message.

This number along with many others are linked to the same company. Transcontinental Warranty. I answered the phone one day and played along . The woman slipped up and said the company she worked for. Immediately I was transfered to another person. The scary part is then know who you are. One person said my name and I never gave it to them. Here's an update about it... It seems they have changed their number to this from a year ago. https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/8889989893 this is from this site for around the time of December 2008 (about the time these calls started happening.)

Received the same automated warranty message yesterday morning. I've heard of their routine before and I punched two to be removed from their list. Have not received a call since, but will update if they call again.

This is crazy...rec'd another call from this number

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. Waited through the message and pressed 1 to talk to a representative. The person on the other end was named Terrell. I told him to quit calling me, not in that fashion, a bit profane actually. And he said ok and hung up. We will see if he shows up again.

Also getting calls from this number - haven't answered, but if it is Transcontinental Warranty, Inc. - they have an A- with the Better Business Bureau!

called with vehicle factory warranty scam recording. have received this call here at work from other hijacked residential numbers.

Just got a call, didnt answer, no message left. When I returned the call it said the number was not in serice. I received a call last week from a number saying my warranty on my vehicle was expiring. After reading the other comments I'm guessing this is a scam of some sort.

I just call a call from this number on my cell phone.  Ridiculous.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize and they didn't leave a message.  This is out of control.....

This appears to be a part of a nationwide scam (and appears to be based out of MI). If someone knows how to report this to MI authorities, please post that info here.

Report this number to your local/area Better Business Bureau. It's another scam involving so-called "warrenty expiration" for your vehicle.

I keep getting calls from various numbers including this one about my vehicle warranty expiring. Prompt said to press 1 to talk to a sales rep. Asked her for the name of her company to report them to the BBB and she said sorry for bothering you and hung up. When I call back the number is disconnected.

Get calls on my work phone regarding "your vehicle warranty...".  Google gives the name:
Terrell Jenkins in Battle Creek MI 40917.  I call back and get the old..."number has been diconnected or is...".

I have been receiving calls about vehicle warranty/registration.  One per week from various long distance numbers.  No messages. Even received one on my car phone.  Very annoying.  Sure to be nothing leagal!
