There is no way to get a call from a number, call back 10 seconds later and it's disconnected, 10 seconds after that it's valid again. I don't know what they are up to, but it can't be good.

It's called phone number spoofing.  They have a computer program that make up fake numbers to show on caller ID.  I have actually received attempted telemarketer calls from a caller ID that showed my own phone number.

I got this about a Credit Card,I do not have nor would I use or own one! About my interest rate being reduced.I knew it was a scam from the first sentence! Going to call from my PC so it can't be traced and  give them an ear full if any fool is dumb enough to pick up the call!!!

Called as I was getting ready for work so I didn't answer. Didn't leave a message. All it said was Kentucky.

Called, said nothing...I hung up. Have called back twice since then...

Came up on my caller I'd as"  illegal scam" . Just for fun I called it back and the recording said -thanks for calling  national disability
Please hold for next available agent - so I did and asked the foreigner - why it came up as ILLEGAL SCAM.....she said so sorry about that and hung up. Wish all these types of calls would come up as ILLEGAL SCAM.
