I received an automated message from this number saying that my tax return was flagged for the for tax fraud. I haven't filed my return this year yet!!! I knew from watching the news that there w as a scam such as this going on.Double checking on Google I saw I wasn't alone. This is a scam, people!!!

I received the same call today and it was an automated voice and they told me that I had a red flag and my taxes would be held. I just filed my taxes and I know that they have been approved and this is a total scam. They give you the same number to call back that appears on the phone instead of giving you the IRS number that everyone gives you to call and you can even look up the IRS number in the phone book. Boy, what lengths scammers will go through in order to get money from helpless, innocent people instead of getting a real job. DON'T CALL BACK OR GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO THEM. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. I HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY!!! It came up on my phone as William SportMD.

I also received as robotic message and then I called the MD number back. Rep. said his name was Sam but he had a heavy foreign accent.  He said he was from the Criminal Investigation from the Irs and he needed my name so he could pull up my file. I refused to give him my name and he got as little aggressive about pushing me to give him my name.  I hung up on him and I tried calling back, as I was going to tell him not to call me or I would report them to the attorney general's office.  I got no answer

These people called me claiming to b da i.r.s. n i owed dem 15000 dollars from 2008 to 2014

These fraudulent people called me as well. As usual, the heavy foreign accent, outrageous claims of owing money to the IRS from 2008-2012, and threat of legal action if not handled immediately. They are FRAUDULENT. Please report ALL of the information given by them to the US Treasury  Inspector General at http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
DO NOT be alarmed. Never trust a random call from ANYONE with such a heavy accent claiming to be from the IRS or Government. NEVER.

I got a call today from this number saying he was from IRS saying I owe 900 and need to pay today if not I will loose my job my home bank accounts anything I had I told him how do I owe IRS taxes and he started yelling at me then telling me he was going to send someone to my job to lock me up coincidence or not an hour later a four by four with two men went around my job asking for me showed up three times today going to police in morning scammer

I have received several calls from these people, but they don't ask me for money. They keep telling me they are looking for someone named Jose. When I asked to speak to this guys supervisor, he threatened me stating he would have me arrested if I didn't stop calling him back. So I contacted the IRS directly. They told me he was a scam artist and to report him to the FTC, the FCC and the National Do Not Call Registry. I have done this and I suggest that everyone who gets a call from these folks do so.

Got a call saying i had tax fraud and owe 600 in 30 min or the feds will pick me up
