WE CAN'T TAKE YOUR CALL SO PLEASE LEAVE US A MESSAGE AND YOUR NUMBER. IF YOU ARE A TELEMARKETER, DON'T BOTHER, MULTIPLE CALLS WILL BE TRACKED AND REPORTED TO THE FCC AND THE STATE'S ATTOURNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE FOR HARRASSMENT.

IF YOU WISH TO SEND US SOMETHYING, SENDIT IN THE REGULAR MAIL ALONG WITH YOUR FEDERAL TAX ID NUMBER...THANK YOU

This has eliminated 97% of the crank robo calls and telemarketers.  They usually hang up when they get to the "MULTIPLE CALLS WILL BE TRACKED AND REPORTED TO THE FCC AND THE STATE'S ATTOURNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE FOR HARRASSMENT"...

They always end up hanging up when they hear the request for the FERDERAL TAX ID NUMBER...which they will not give you nor do they have.  Any legit organization will gladly send you something in writing with the Fed Tax ID.  You then have the option to read it and then trash it.

Then, on occasions, if I do answer and there is dead silence on the phone, I say: YOU CALLED ME, I DIDN'T CALL YOU...Then I say - THIS CALL IS BEING RECORDED AND HAS BEEN TRACED AND LEGAL ACTION IS BEDING TALKEN AGAINST YOU, THE CALLER.  Then I hang up.

Be aware of multiple calls form the same people from various numbers.  With the ON LINE phone records via your internet/cable providers, they can provide a list of numbers that have been placed to your phone and they make a perfect package to send to the "Organization" that is harassing you along with a note that these numbers have been forward to a lawyer, the FCC, the State Attny General's Office, AND ALLTHE LOCAL TV STATIONS TO INVESTIGATE THEM FOR FRAUD AND HARRASSMENT.  Those multiple calls are very far and few between for now!

Unfortunately, political advertisements and apparently charities are excluded from the Do Not Call regs.

Since I despise what the Republicans are doing to this country, the positive thing about this call is that they (1) aren't connecting with someone who shares their warped view of reality and (2) they waste their money every time they call me.

Let them spend their money, all they are doing is annoying us and using up their resources in the process.

Recording call for registered voters survey at 9pm!! 3 times in 10 min!! Out of control! My baby is sleeping.

Hacks me off!!  Calling anyone at nine p.m. is  no way to win friends and influence  people.  Even if it is a cause you believe in.

If the number 301-665-8000 is sooo wrong, why is this so call company is still in business, this # number need to stop calling me are and other people it annoying while, I am sleeping during the day.

I just got a call from this number.  The Caller-ID showed “Maryland”.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.   Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.  

My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.

To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes.  Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers.  You simply save the CID to the blocked list.  You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code).
